MIUI 1.10.21 for Google Nexus S cannot connect to T-mobile's 3G network

Yes, I am using T-mobile Monthly 4G, and they do let me connect to 3G.
I have confirmed 3G connection using the stock rom, but MIUI 1.10.21 for NS does not.

MIUI does get AT&T's 3G network. I think it has some settings issue with radio bands?
any ideas people?

I am using the stock rom until this issue is resolved.
I still love and thank MIUI.

I don't think the AT&T version of the NS will get 3G on T-Mobile network. Just like the unlocked jailbroken iPhone can only get 2g or edge speed on T-Mobile. Has nothing to do with MIUI. I'm using the original NS on T-Mobile and getting 3G, sometime even HSPA which is slightly faster.

on other notes, you can try flashing the radio.img from the stock rom. i've done that and i get lesz No Service issue.

Actually, I am using M200 (a NS variation in South Korea, compatible with I9020T or the T-mobile branded NS)
I've tried flashing MIUI, cyanogenmod, and the stock tmobile ROM(2.3.6), and it seemed that only MIUI had a problem connecting to t-mobiles 3G network.
I also found out that not just the data, but also the call was affected by it. I am getting much stronger signals everywhere on the stock rom. (no more "No Service" signs and getting at least two bars almost everywhere that I used to get no signal on MIUI)

So, I still think that it's the setting issue that I cannot really make a change in MIU's radio bands or something. (It's a guess.)

I'll try flashing the radio.img and I hope it works.

Any luck with getting this to work? I just bought my GF a Nexus and flashed MIUI on it. She loves it (originally wanted and iPhone) but we can't get data to work. Have you found a solution?

randmc562, AT&T NS version won't work on T-Mobile data network and vice versa.. not sure if that's your issue.

also, be very cautious on flashing radio.img file. flashing the wrong or bad radio.img file can brick your phone cuz it's one of the first things the phone looks at during boot. e.g., you can't get into bootloader or recovery to fix it.

I checked the phone. It's definitely a t-mobile NS. Any luck on getting this to work? maybe flashing one of the MIUI variants off of XDA? If you guys have had any success let me know. I really don't wanna go to Cyanogen for her but if I have to, I will. Thanks for your help guys!

Hey man, it should say Samsung Google Nexus S GT-I9020T under model. I've tried CyanogenMod.. I've also tried every flavor of MIUI (including XDA) and I haven't had connectivity issues with any MIUI rom. My only suggestion is making sure that you're not using a I9020A which is the AT&T model. You can go on EDGE on T-Mo/AT&T but will never see a T-Mo 3G connection no matter what ROM you throw at it.

On Galaxy Nexus S,i can;t download apps bigger than 1mb,only in Wifi,i uncheck the option wifi only,and keeps waiting for Wifi connection,where can i find to remove this options,not to warn me about my mobile data.Thx.
