Phone Overheating in 1.9.30 and 1.10.7

I've noticed when I flashed 1.9.30 my desire has been getting hot at the back (the area below the battery) . I reflashed 1.9.23 and it was running fine without getting warm. I flashed 1.10.7 over the weekend and have noticed the same heating issue.
Has anyone else experinced the same?

    Hardware

    it's a hardware problem.
I had the same problem. I couldn't repair it.

the phone gets hot when u play or run some heavy program and then it restarts.. no matter what rom you have installed.

Hardware problem would be the obvious guess but when I went back to 1.9.23 (wiped and reflashed 1.9.23) there was no problem with it warming up. Then when I flashed 1.10.7 the problem was back. So no issue when using 1.9.23 but issue comes up on 1.9.30 and 1.10.7. Going to flash 1.10.14 tomorrow lets see how that goes

    Not necessary a hardware issue...

This is not necessary a hardware issue... I've had the same issue and trying different kernels have fixed it. I'm using bricked 1.5 and it works for me.

I'd like to give that a try. Is the Bricked Kernal ok to use on the Desire. Also where can I get it?
