I am having a problem with widgets not refreshing. I have flashed twice following direction. I have fixed permissions, reinstalled widgets...any thoughts?

It's a bad build. The Dev is trying to fix this issue. We're not sure if it's fixable though. If they're widgets you really need I'd suggest using 1.9.23 for right now.

Does anyone have the files for SS 10 (1.9.23)? One of my friends wants to try out Miui SS, but all I have is 11.1 which has the widget issue. His phone needs to work 100% though because of his job. Any help would be great! Thanks.

Anyone wanting the fix for ss 11.1 head over to the vibrant development thread on xda. Neobuddy has it posted there and fixes most unstable issues.

SS and LE may be Re-Uploaded at some point with the widget fix, no Guarantee's. But I at the least the fix will be in the OP's later for new users un aware of the problem. Thank's guys doing a wonderful job holding me down (especially with this fu*k#d up build. (all devices from miui.us have this problem)(probably a corrupt translation)))

Hey Nick...just flashed SS-12..still no gps out of the box...flashing Vibrant_-MIUI-GPS-signed.zip you posted a while back you said it worked well on YOUR phone as well....did the trick last time, still not as good as in the ss-5 rom...I could lock 11 inside no problem...have you come across any newer fixes that worked on your phone?

Edit: works...24ft accuracy 8 locks

Yes the files that are in the ROM work best for me, but it sometimes requires a reboot. May try something different in LE Today

I fired up GPS Test after flashing last night and while sitting inside my house it found and locked with 10 sats in literally 3-4 seconds. Flat out amazing. For my own selfish reasons, I say dont change a thing with respect to GPS!

Cool, good to hear. May not change the GPS files then. If it doesnt work out of the box then people can try Neobuddy86 Fix"s. I'm about done messing with GPS Fixes. There are plenty of knowledgeable people working on it day in and day out. Spent my whole vacation trying to get GPS working on my Phone and this file combination is what work's for me.

In addition to great gps the battery is unbelievably long lasting on ss12. I have been on my phone all day today and still have 31 percent. On all previous roms I would have run out before noon. Not sure if its the change to the platypus kernel or something else but its great. I may never flash again!

I just noticed after flashing ss12, my baseband is unknown (Or it might be before while flashing miui in the stock rom). I'm also having problem of "no network". I have to reboot to get the network again.

I also flashing cm7.1 modems, but still the baseband is 'unknown

So, should i try to again cm7.0 modem over just flashed one, i.e 7.1?

Or there are any other solution for better network?

Make sur your using a 7.1 modem, and what were you on before?
May just want to start over. or if you were already on miui then restore a backup and go from there. havent seen the baseband issue in months.

Before MIUI, i was on default ROM (i.e froyo installed using kies), Then i flashed miui 1.19.16 (i followed the instruction from addictivetips.com). As mentioned in your flashing steps (formatting system, data and cache was not mentioned, so i missed that step). And i'm having the network problem after flashing miui for the first time. At that time i do not noticed the baseband. I just noticed it yesterday.

So after flashing 1.19.16, i flashed 1.19.23, then i got the link of your revamped then i flashed last three builds that is based on .23, 30 and 1.10.8.

So please help, what to do next, i was just planning to check LE 3.1

You need to Odin to JFD with repartition checked to get the kies update overwritten. then flash a CUSTOM 2.2 rom, boot it up make sure you have a signal, then follow directions for MIUI, if stock MIUI dont work sSS or LE will not work either.
