NS4G 1.9.23 impression thread
Another week another build mostly dedicated for optimizations. I might be flashing this one a little late.

I haven't been able to boot into system on 1.9.23. First time this has ever happened.. First I flashed with ROM Manager then tried manually.. I get stuck at boot animation and have to pull battery after 10 mins.. Wiped /system, /data, /cache, and boot.img before flashing each time
Anyone else experience this? My md5sum matches

Same here.
-edit: I tried wiping and flashing manually. As well flashing Pete's kernel over the top.

Same with me. Clockwork is telling me to update my ROM manager so I'm gonna give that a shot right now. I thought maybe it was an error when I was downloading because that happens when downloading with the Mac sometimes but I guess not.

I haven't even seen the new update on my phone yet. Went to the update screen and it keeps saying that there are no new updates at this time. Nexus S 4G.

This thread is for the nexus s 4g. We're the ones having the problem with flashing lol of course the vibrant worked! I have a feeling we're just gonna have to wait until next week. No one seems to know what the problem is here. It doesn't make any sense.

while installing MiUi in my wife's Evo, which has the same not booting issue with 1.9.23, I thought I noticed the updated being back for the NS4G.
if it was (?) it's gone again :-(
oh well, 1.9.16 works well. bring in a booting 1.9.30 with those new features!

You might have seen the one for the Nexus S because we have a different one than them
it's still not up there yet.

Okay, all flashed with Trinity kernel. Running great! Kinda pointless though since the next build will be up day after tomorrow, but whatever. I'm just happy they didn't forget about us altogether!
