sorry if i sound really dumb, but how do i get these to work? i flashed (0701_SystemUI_No_Debug_Date_Alarm_12hour_Clock_re moval and 0701_SystemUI_No_Debug_Date_Alarm_ClockMod) both through clockwork after clearing the cache and dalvik, but both times when i reboot phone, all the things are still there

am i doing (or not doing) something wrong?

I just flashed same file and mod works as described. My hunch is you are on a non english translation pack? Clock and date mods are done in the lang specific values folder strings.xml. if this is the case you could use my walkthrough to make your own or you could pm me a link for your systemui.apk and I could make it for you. If this is not the case and you are on a english trans pack do you have sig verification toggled off? let me know either way -Bix78

    carrier info

Thank you so much for identifying the places for changing the lines in SystemUI.apk.
Could anybody tell me how to change the framework-res.apk to rid of the carrier info ?
Where do I have to change what ?
    Thanks so much.

At least for evo... Decompile framework nav to xml folder/eri.xml... I deleted the sprint from last line, then recomped framework, extracted eri.xml and add the edited back into oem framework every week.

    carrier info

    @ BixBix78
Thank you. I am using the international i9000 SGS. A lot works for the SGS when I use the zips in the first post, but not everything.
So I try and error. Does the eri.xml thing erases the operator info in the notification dropdown status bar for you or is it only the homescreen (or lockscreen) status bar ?
    Cheers

Can we get one that's just
    "Removes Alarm Clock Icon
    Removes Debug Icon
Modifies Clock visibility (12 hour format removes am/pm, 24 hour format removes clock completely)"

Or better yet, just release individual mods that can be flashed over each other. That way we can mix and match the things we want on there and the things we want to get rid of.

I've gone ahead and taken the leap, lol. I flashed the 0701_WallHack.zip file and everything appears to be working just fine.

Sorry bro things came up this weekend.

My guess is in Launcher2\res\values\dimens.xml these line may control the size. I don't have any time today to test my theories though

    <dimen name="workspace_cell_width">76.0dip</dimen>
    <dimen name="workspace_cell_height">86.0dip</dimen>
