Browser doesn't work when not on WiFi
Hi everyone,
I'm not sure what happened, but since updating MIUI a few weeks back the browser on my Vibrant can't load web pages unless I'm on WiFi. If I'm using my data, I can use any other app that pulls information from the web, but the browser won't load anything. When I'm on WiFi there is absolutely no issue.
Does anyone have any ideas as to why this might be happening? I've fiddled around with the Browser and Mobile Network settings to no avail. Other than this one issue I've never been happier with my phone since flashing MIUI on it.
I'd really appreciate some help if anyone has any ideas.
Cheers.

Does it partially load a web page? if not you may need to open titanium backup and locate the browser. Then "Clear user data" or if you do not use Titanium you can also do it this way:
-Long press the home button
-select ''app manager''
-locate the browser in the list
-Clear/wipe user data
If that doesn't work try opening the "Downloads App" and make sure it is not set to wifi only. If you change that setting you may have to reboot for settings to take place.
**Run Cache CleanerNG but first make sure it is on "old cleaning method" and ''SD Card Clean''**360° Productions™

I had same situation. Go to your APN list and click Menu and choose Restore Defaults

Thanks for your replies! Unfortunately, none of that worked... The browser doesn't partially load pages either, they're just blank.

Hey, I'm having the same problem. However, mine won't work with wifi either. Now, when I flash to stock JFD, etc. it doesn't work. Not only does mine fail to load webpages, nothing else connects either.

Did you check "re-partition in odin" before flashing JFD?
Do you have signal?
What does it say under "About Phone" as "Baseband" in settings/system/about phone?
Little more info?
Thy pulled the Rom lets see whay happens on the next build. I have a feeling MIUI is going to be super buggy for the next few builds.360° Productions™

Hello, thanks for the quick response! Yep, I checked re-partition. The signal was full and it said I had a 3G or H connection. I reflashed to stock; so, I'm not sure what the baseband said in MIUI. However, I'm still having the issue on the stock rom. I'll reflash MIUI and see what it says in terms of baseband, etc. Whenever I go to an app that uses the internet or use a browser it says: "data connectivity problem: the server failed to communicate. try again later".

It's not just the browser for me... it's everything involving data.
