Official MIUI.us Forums application!
Hi All,
We are officially releasing the MIUI.us forums application.
With MIUI.us Mobile, you can access the MIUI.us forums directly from your Android device.
- Send and receive PM's
- Access and post to the most recent discussions
- Read and post to vBulletin blogs and articles
- View profiles
- Customize your mobile account anywhere, anytime
The application should be installed by our packs and ROM's but I am providing an alternate download location here for those with devices not updated yet or those who aren't even running MIUI but like to check the forums out!

for some reason it is not recognizing my username/pwd. I even did a password reset to be sure... Will give it some time and try again. The screenshots look swell by the way
Great job, n_i_x

LOL... There was another thread and I did mention it was coming shortly after the website was themed

Besides, tapatalk pro works with more than just this forum so it's not money wasted!
We will continue to support tapatalk on these forums and keep the plugin up to date.

I have the app and my subscriber list isn't working. Along with the forum button at the bottom. To go to a forum I have to hit menu forum and then I'm there.

05-14-2011, 06:55 PM #14That's by design.. when we enable the blog you'll be able to select it from the forums button. We've seen issues when you subscribe to forums... Threads seem to work fine.

My 2 cents after playing with it. I love it.
It would be helpful though if on the homescreen there was a way to tell which forum those responses came from. I got confused when I read the title about a problem with the a laggy homescreen only to find out that it wasn't even related to my phone. I almost flashed a zip fix for another phone.
Just thought I'd mention it.
But other than that it's a really nice app and runs very smooth on my phone...of course it runs MIUI 1.5.13 HA! ;-)

This isn't about the app itself but rather how you guys formatted the forum for mobile devices. My company has a vBulletin forum and I'm guessing there is some kind of plug in or something? I almost prefer to view this forum in my browser rather than using the dedicated app.

With the built in App I was unable to login, kept telling me the UN and PW don't match. After downloading this version and replacing it all worked fine.

Opening the app and then pressing the back button brings up a "Log out?" dialog. I can't see the log out case being common enough to warrant this behavior. It'd really be nice if it followed most other apps and hitting back from the home screen would take you out of the app.
Having to hit the home button breaks my common flow of being in a browser or SMS, using Recent Apps or Wave Launcher to open an app quickly, then hitting back to get out of the app, thereby returning to my browser, SMS, netflix, etc. This app requires you to go to the home screen and then try to get back into whatever you last had open.
Logging out of the app isn't something I'm going to do often. There's already the logout button. If anything, it should be under Menu.

It would be cool if the app recognized or at least allowed you to input what device you have and give you a quick link to download the latest ROM for your device.

I'd like to see a way to either automatically know your device, or select your device so that the home page gave you a quick link to the sub-forum for your phone. Or maybe better yet, an area where you can bookmark favorite threads/forums that will show up right on the front page for you, so you can get to them quickly.
