This is an excellent ROM if for no other reason than it introduces the first non-CyanogenMod/carrier/manufacturer framework overhaul of Android 2.3.5 and boy what an overhaul.

Changes from base ROM

Added: Custom Bootscreen | English Translations | MIUI.us Forum app | Removed Chinese Market App (contains mostly Chinese text and some warez)

If you want ADW.Launcher or LauncherPro install them from Market.

When bringing down my status bar down( with full screen toggle), my automatic brightness is switched off, and set to the least possible one. I have to set it back to automatic each time.really annoying.

firstly i want to say thanks for this awesome roms, everything works perfectly fine no random boot or fc but only for 2 of my games :

- whenever i tried to play asphalt 6 (fresh install of the game no save data ) its instantly fc to the home screen
- gun bros very laggy (fresh install of the game but save data loaded from online facebook)

edit : i tried to wipe dalvik cache but still no change

I just bought my Nexus S this past weekend, so I know absolutely nothing about flashing Roms and Kernals. Is there a primer somewhere that will bring me up to speed? I have the 2.3.6 update and was wondering if MIUI is compatible with that. A step by step guide would be great.

xda forums have lots of threads regarding rooting, flashing, and customizing you phone.

This thread has a section called "rooting guides" http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1067813

check it out, and get familiar with the process, then grab the latest miui and let the fun begin.

On Galaxy Nexus S,i can;t download apps bigger than 1mb,only in Wifi,i uncheck the option wifi only,and keeps waiting for Wifi connection,where can i find to remove this options,not to warn me about my mobile data.Thx.
