Can't change ringtone settings
Am I the only one who can't change their ringtone after the 1.8.12 update? I get a FC everytime I try.

I had the same problem. Did you restore you phone with a back-up? If. You did just restore your apps.

Ok good -- I'm not the only one! It's a shame because this version had fixed the camera issue I had in 1.8.5

A trick that i have used with the ringtone selection problem. Go to the music player, and look for a song that you would like to use as your ringtone. When you the song you want to use, long press the track and a menu will come up, then select use as ringtone.

why not update to 1.9.23? In my opinion, it runs better, and has less force close issues. If you do decide to update, make sure you're updating from the Gingerbread OTA (just make sure you're rooted).
