I'm having a problem flashing the rom for the second time. The first time was successful, now I get a boot loop. I use super wipe. What am I doing wrong?

I ended up un-rooting and re-rooting my phone and solved the problem. I figured there was corrupt or misplaced file somewhere caused by flashing and re-flashing between roms.

I got the same problem after flash the rom it stays in the MIUI logo and won't boot to the system. What should I do?

I posted this on XDA-developers but ill post here as well... I love MIUI and want to use this ROM but i can't as is because of the poor sound quality on the receiving end. Are others also experiencing this? I hope this can be fixed.

Darkside superwipe>rom>darkside cache wipe.

it will boot if you do this. just be patient on the 1st boot as it takes a while.

Is anyone having problem for the bluetooth connection? I connected to the gps and other bluetooth device and it shows it is connected but the voice is still stay in the phone.

Just installed v4.1_2.9.29. 1st off, thanks for the hard work. Love it!

Unfortunately, I immediately noticed poor call quality. Almost as if everyone I called or called me has trouble hearing me. Any thoughts?

I think it is more of a Jelly Bean issue than the ROM itself. Every single JB based ROM that I have tried on this phone has had the dreaded call quality issue. It's a real shame because I really like Jelly Bean ROMS. They are SOOO much more fluid and faster. Going back to ICS is so painful now. Difference between JB and ICS is night and day.

Anyone here know why there seems to be a call quality issue on this particular phone with JB based ROMS??

T989 with 2.9.29 no call audio. I tried InstigatorX's kernel, but it led to LOTS of RR. Any solution?

There is a solution! It turns out to be a simple one. It's a setting in the Call screen. Click on the Menu button while in the dial pad screen. Click on Settings. Click on the Noise Suppression check box. Bingo!

2.10.12 is now available. This is based on Android 4.1.2. I highly recommend you do a full wipe when installing this update so make sure to backup your apps in advance. You can dirty flash if you like but if you have any issues, make sure you try again from a fresh install.

Sorry, this was on a different ROM, but my understanding is that this is a feature of the core Jelly Bean OS. So I'm not sure if it's made available in this particular ROM, since I had already flashed AOKP. I would search around in the settings menu on the dialpad screen. It's gotta be in there somewhere.

I'm wondering if this ROM is hiding that feature. Can a developer please chime in here and let us know if and where the "Noise Suppression" option is in MIUI that the stock Jelly Bean OS has available in the dial pad screen? This feature is absolutely critical to have available for this phone as the phone is rendered completely useless as a "phone" if not able to enable this option.

Then this ROM is completely useless for this particular phone, and maybe others.
