Has anyone had problems installing certain apps. A few won't install... Also, BT audio isn't working. Does a different kernal help?

I am having the issue as well. I cant install Weather Bug or Gas buddy. USAA Banking and 7 others at least. I lost them when I upgraded as well. I am getting errors that there are missing Libary's.

Latest update is the best one yet. I'm still having a few issues such as randomly losing all audio for the device and randomly getting a blank screen, both I fix by rebooting. I'm curious about flashing a different kernel. Were can I find a different kernel?

I've just flashed Instigator X v6.3.6 Beta 1 from Goomanager along with the JB rotation fix from here [url]http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=28931172[url\]
So far so good. I'll report back after ruining it all day tomorrow.

yes i am having the same issue in my phone there are still bugs and few apps wont download due to not comparable with your current version of miui rom i d k what will be next seem like rom has same issues every time there is a updated or sometime we have more problems like yesterday we was unable to boot after Samsung logo after installing 2.9.7 k

Only bug that bugs me :-P is that when I try to unlock directly to SMS it won't always take be there. Half of the time it just unlocks to my home screen. And when I am in a conversation in sms and press the back button it closes the entire app instead of just taking me back to the rest of my messages. It's pretty annoying. Any suggestions? I'm back on 9.7. Overall great rom!

Instigator X kernel is good so far here also. One thing I noticed is when I go to use the network data monitor app it crashes and restarts my device.

It only does it when using the Instigator X kernel. With stock kennel works just fine. Also when using the torch for more than 20 seconds also restarts the phone.

other than that it has been working great. No sleep of death / RR.

Instigator has been good so far but I'd rather use the stock trinity kernel. The battery just doesn't seem to last as long. Is there any fix for the sleep of death?

BRKotucs lol i feel you on that torch part last night i lock my keys in and it was dark i was trying to open the door because i was at the gas station and was running late for work that dam torch was keep rebooting my phone i was having hard time opening my door but all i had 20 sec to work with i even ask my self why i need miui but something new lol well after 45 min got my door open some how but shit i was soooo ready to break my phone tho xD dam bugs lol watch out people there is still bug in this rom kernel or no kernel all u have 20 sec of torch in 2.9.7.2

I am also experiencing this SMS issue, as well as a random reboots, with no specific trigger. Kind of scary going to bed not knowing if my phone is going to be on or off in the morning to wake me up!
MIUI weather wont install (on bugtracker)
The option for MIUI to resize any widget doesn't seem to do anything.
I feel that wifi goes in an out when connected, and the actual cell signal doesn't seem to be as strong as it could be.
GPS won't work on Google Maps? It won't find my current location.
I am not sure if it is MIUI or a bug, but there is no way to organize your apps via alphabetical order or anything of the sort? Once I move some apps into folders on my first screen I'd like to be able to have all my apps fill in the blanks the other ones left rather than having them scattered through so many screens.

Unable to turn on Root on 2.9.14 , it appears to be the stable version.. anyone knows a fix to this?

i am losing a call volume after few hours when i call my voicemail i cant even hear nothing even if i put it on speaker in order to fix that i had to re load the rom and its getting old any one know how to fix this issue

Root is working fine for me. This update seemed to smooth out the overall experience a lot. No issues with downloaded apps crashing, etc.

Only issue is the camera will crash when secting panorama mode. Video mode can be selected, and it takes photos no problem.

Does the darkside wipe need to be used every time you flash this rom? or is it just a one time thing?

If you want to be safe, then yes. Darkside SuperWipe>MiUi>Darkside Cachewipe

MiUi has a backup app that can restore your apps and system settings. You can use this to restore your settings after flashing a new rom... Im going to attempt this when the next version comes out, just to see what happens.

What's the point of installing those two darkside tools post and prior to the rom installation. Doesn't the recovery do the job?

Depends on which recovery you are using. Some of them do not adequately wipe the partitions prior to flashing.

Another problem I discovered, when using the Torch app, it automatically causes a reboot of the phone. Happened in 2.9.7 as well as 2.9.14!
