Installation Instructions

• Place ROM zip file in your SD card
• Boot into recovery
• Create a backup
• Fatory reset device
• Install zip from SD card
• Reboot and enjoy!

Not Working

• During boot, the screen may go all black for 20-30 secs after the Google Logo before the boot animation starts, this is ok
• Google Voice doesn't work. This is due to China making changes to the framework and applies to all 2.11.9 builds (and probably after)

Thank you sooo much for working on the Nexus 7 build! My Nexus 7 is currently being fixed by ASUS and I can't wait to get it back so I can flash MIUI!!!

Apps look decent. I changed DPI to 240 to make them look a better than stock (MIUI from China). The default ROM from China is set to 320 DPI which makes all the apps look like really large phone apps.

Anyway we can have a custom grid size more like the stock ROM? I think stock's grid size is something like 6x8? That'd be great

The rom linked on roms.miui.us is not my modded version. That version is just translated from China. The links in this thread are to my modded version. It included Toolbox already builtin, different lockscreen, and modified launcher.

Updated: I just did a fresh install and I must say, the launcher's layout ROCKS!!! The only bad news is that for some reason Play store says that my device is incompatible with all the apps except for the ones already installed. I wasn't able to install via the browser on my computer or within the app.

I'm using stock ROM with Trinity kernel on my Nexus7, but I'm planning to switch to MIUI. How stable and bug free is now this MIUI ROM? I've almost always been using MIUI on my old HTC Desire, and it's fantastic.
How fast is it compared to the stock ROM? For me, only changing the kernel (to Trinity) improved speed a lot (to 5600 from 3600 points in quadrant).
