Installation Instructions

• Place ROM zip file in your SD card
• Boot into recovery
• Create a backup
• Fatory reset device
• Install zip from SD card
• Reboot and enjoy!

Not Working

• During boot, the screen may go all black for 20-30 secs after the Google Logo before the boot animation starts, this is ok
• Google Voice doesn't work. This is due to China making changes to the framework and applies to all 2.11.9 builds (and probably after)

I know this is the wrong thread for nexus s but i keep getting system ui not working and others system related issues. i tried three different versions and none worked.

1. clean install
2. launcher keeps "refreshing" after coming back from an app
3. clean install tapatalk - gives FC and "forgets" the passwords.
4. not as smooth as 2.8.10

maybe some fine adjustments are to be made for a better ROM.

MIUI weather only works for China locations unfortunately which is why it isn't included in the rom. I actually want to remove the weather widgets to avoid the confusion but haven't sorted it out yet.

Sorry, 2.8.24 will not have Toolbox. Can't verify SMS character limit on GSM because I don't have the device myself, anyone else verify?

Go into the permissions app and give permission there. This bug is still present in 2.8.24, but it is miui issue, not with the port. I flashed w/o wiping, no issue

OTG = usb on the go ,and called usb host
whith an otg cable and an app (stick mount ) we can connect usb storage like to galaxy nexus and this possible on other roms but on this rom i can't use OTG
so if i don't wipe there will be no problem

Is anyone else having a problem with GPS not working at all? I've tried a clean install and a different kernel with no success.
