definitely smooth. allowing it to load before it let's you scroll through the homescreens really improves the fluidity of scrolling through them. (Now i can off of Paranoid Android and enjoy MIUI as a DD. Thanks, Miui.us . you guys are life-savers.)

Quick question though, i dont see what the "free architecture launcher" thing is... Someone care to explain it to me? Thanks.

ICS, and its built in features, and the initial integration with miui took the winds from its sails.
This is great though. Love to keep it as a did but...

The search is not working for me.
Searching from Google now, which diednt even load tabs, or from the home screen literally does nothing.
The search buttons don't work after typing.

And a feature request. An option to return the "recents" soft button and remove the menu. I've come to appreciate Google's new buttons and menu implementation.

    Re: MIUI.us v4 Toro (Jelly Bean 4.1)

First off I would like to say thanks for the work put into bringing this ROM to the community. I ran MIUI for ever on my old device, and recently got the Galaxy Nexus. I saw that the JB build was up so I couldnt resist. Everything seems to be working great for me except one thing. I cant connect to any Hidden SSID's. When I attempt to add it manually, i type in the name of the SSID, and pick the encryption type, but am never given an option to type in the passkey. If I click OK i get a "Failed to Connect" at the bottom of the screen. Any thoughts, or known work arounds?

    Re: MIUI.us v4 Toro (Jelly Bean 4.1)

Figured out my issue and noticed something else.
The search problem I had was that I disabled the stock browser. Search is hard coded to it? Search always brings up the default browser regardless of chrome having defaults.

The other issue is with permissions. Programs that need root don't trigger the popup. The app has to be killed then given permission, the request shows in the permission app, the the requesting app can then be launched and works properly.

Don't have miui installed now so i can't give an exact placement.
Go to the "downloads" app and change the WiFi settings. Default you need WiFi to DL.

I just loaded MIUI for the first time since JB came out. I was really missing it and loved it for a few minutes but then I went to restore my apps and can't get My Backup or Titanium to open at all. I did a full wipe, wiped cache and dalvik, fixed permissions. It runs beautifully fast but its useless without apps. I've reflashed twice but every time I I download TB or MB and nothing. Any thoughts?

It actually doesn't open at all? Or it doesn't get root access?
If its the latter see my post above, or last page.

    Re: MIUI.us v4 Toro (Jelly Bean 4.1)

can anyone check and see if google location service is working on this version? I currently have JB MIUI from miuiandroid running on my Verizon GNex, but Google Now location based services, and location in the browser do not work. I set all location services to "allow" in the main location services menu, but still no luck getting location based results when searching with google in the browser (any browser), or using google now/search apps. ..even maps will pop up a message about wifi based location not working and redirect me to the location settings page (..which shows it as enabled). I did notice that the usual pop-up disclaimer does not pop when turning on the top item "Google's location service", but I do get the pop up disclaimer with the bottom option "Location & Google search".

Anyway, I'm not looking for anyone here to trouble shoot the ROM from miuiandroid; ..just looking for confirmation that the miui.us JB ROM is working before I wipe everything and flash it over my current one.
