The feature isn't gone. It just only works when you disable the "recents" nav bar button. I don't like how that works, but that is how China implemented it. The same issue existed when we had MIUI Toolbox enable the home button on the lockscreen with ICS (before China added in the nav bar options).

Okay, I'm getting upset about this. VZW says that all provisioning on my account is correct, however, after using 4G service for more than a few minutes I lose service completely. Any one have this issue in the past or know how I can fix it? 3g (after I finally got it to stick on MIUI) works fine - always, but my 3g service is actually has lessor signal where I live vs 4g. Plus the speed thing.....Also, how do I get rid of the annoying (only can download over wifi) crap within miui. I have unlimited data and I really don't care how large a file is, this is not an iPhone!! haha... Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I have never had signal issues with this ROM.
For the download thing. Open the downloads app and turn on then off the DL only on wifi then press menu and select settings. Turn off notifications

Thx for the help, I just got a replacement device today. 4g seems fine on it. I'm pretty certain it was bad radios in the last device.

Awesome JB ROM. Definitely is smooth. Any way to get the following mods on this ROM: Fast Charge, Circle MOD, Stock Navigation? Apologies if this is the wrong forum to ask based on this ROM version.

Redownload the ROM and try again. Make sure its for the toro version and not the other ones.

I don't have any lag. Touchwiz is not even close. Aosp is boring. All ROM have the same stuff ...boring boring. I love miui

:facepalm: noob, I know miui have more features than others ROMs, but now, those features are getting old stuff. ej: contacts app, in new contacts profile(ics/jb/others) have big+HD contact photo. also big id in call screen. as I have mentioned, realtime widgets preview in launcher is the standard in ics/jb launchers, if the FreeDeskTop have it, why the launcher can't??.



(touchWiz and LG have this too)

also, Miui old-style Iphone transition(when opening apps) look stupid.....

Not sure why some weeks it seems worse on some phones. I assume you did not flash anything after doing a fresh install? Could be some widget you have on the launcher that is causing a conflict on MIUI.

not, with clean I mean full wipe system/data/cache/dalvik. and no widget in the desktop. also the media scannel is very slow, after some reboots, it don't recognize my music

overall the speed of this build is a lot better than some of the builds in the past. but it still has that odd darker than most with a red tint to everything, I have to crank the brightness up to 75% or more to see anything. I assume it's the miui.us toolbox still causing color issues. would be nice to see a clean build with a flashable toolbox and test the difference. because this week i've been using Vicious miui and his build is obviously pure miui with nothing added, and it is a bit snappier and doesn't have the color issues this one has. just need to side load the genie widget for weather. I know you guys are getting the miui weather to work in the US. but it is still a bit buggy, hopefully that works out it does look like a nice weather app.

If you want, you can try editing the gamma adjustments I make and go back to "stock". There are three lines I use to adjust the gamma and color in /system/etc/init.d/98tweaks They are the last 3 lines of that file. Just comment them out (put a # in front of them) and reboot. See if that gets rid of the red tint you are seeing.

ah, forgot about the 98tweaks. was trying to remember where it was the gamma corrections were. I'll give that a go and see how it works out, if nothing else now I can work a few tweaks myself so I can get it where I like it. thanks alot now to fit that to memory so I don't forget again...

update edit: I commented out the "echo 0 .../safety_enabled" and the "145000... /multiplier" but left the "echo 6 >.../gamma" in place and it seems to have fixed everything. I read somewhere the echo 6 option to gamma was a good thing. not sure where. but nonetheless, all's well

Hello, it appears that the gallery on MIUI 4.1 is incompatible with the gallery on other Jelly Bean phones and tablets for using the NFC Android Beam to transfer pictures. I am using the latest build, 2.9.28. Is it possible to put the stock gallery in? Which file should I extract from another jelly bean rom? Would it be "gallery2" or "gallery4"? Thanks for the awesome work!

Thanks! That works, but only in one direction. I can send from the MIUI phone using this gallery to another Jelly Bean phone. However, if I try to have a picture sent to the phone running MIUI, the notification bar and softkeys at the bottom disappear. Sometimes I can reboot using the power button on the side, sometimes it is completely locked and needs battery pull to reboot.

MIUI gallery is a bit laggy and slow, also the pinch-to-zoom look like its broken. when I press the power buttom two times(not too fast), the wallpaper appear first and then the lockscreen. also the locker is a bit laggy and more with the music actived.

also the notificationbar is very very laggy. Anyone with the same problems??
