People say that if you play Microsoft CD's backwards, you hear satanic things, but that's nothing, because if you play them forwards, they install Windows.
If at first you don't succeed, paint it shiny white and put an Apple logo on it. You can make a fortune on upgrades.

Re: MIUI.us v4 Toro (Jelly Bean 4.1)
Does anyone know if there is a way to remove the "Verizon Wireless" at the top?

Re: MIUI.us v4 Toro (Jelly Bean 4.1)
What a solid build. I have been wanting to try Miui for awhile, but there always seemed to be a bug that other rom's did not have. Well this seems like a very strong daily driver now and I could not be happier.
One thing I have noticed with Google Now cards is that if you get some other notifications and it pushes the card down the notification list, but when those other notifications are gone the Google Now card stays about half way down an empty notification list. Not a huge deal, just wanted to point it out.

Re: MIUI.us v4.1 Toro (Jelly Bean)
So it looks like the 2.9.7 build is up on Goo, has anyone tried it yet? Since I just jumped on last week, when you do the weekly update do you do a full wipe, or just a dirty flash?

Re: MIUI.us v4.1 Toro (Jelly Bean)
From what I gather on Twitter there was a couple issues that was fixed. I didn't notice them, working well for me.
Just flash and reboot.

Re: MIUI.us v4.1 Toro (Jelly Bean)
Should be ok updating from a JB MIUI build. Just wipe dalvik / cache. As always, if you run into issues, try reinstalling w/ full wipe.

Re: MIUI.us v4.1 Toro (Jelly Bean)
the 9.14 build seems to have some gamma issues. I'm seeing a red tent to everything. is it just me? When I was on 9.7 I was running LeanKernel 4.3 stable, everything worked and looked great. then i cleared cache/dalvik then flashed 9.14 and I seen the red tent... then did a complete wipe even the system and then did a fresh install of 9.14 and on the stock kernel and noticed it being LeanKernel 4.3 exp 4. Still with the same red tent... Then I tried FrancoKernel Milestone 5, still same result. Then I tried Franco Kernel r251 - 384mhz and 512mhz just for shits and grins. And I still end up with the red tent... So I'm of the conclusion it just might be in the miui toolbox or somewhere in the rom.

Re: MIUI.us v4.1 Toro (Jelly Bean)
I set some gamma settings in init scripts. You can edit them or adjust them manually after booting. I am looking at fine tuning them a little more before next week. Somebody suggested "set the multipliers to R-145, G-145, B-214 and gamma level at 6". You can find how to set those options in a LeanKernel thread or use LeanTweaks.

Re: MIUI.us v4.1 Toro (Jelly Bean)
This ROM is coming along very nicely! Almost has me jumping ship from Minco. I'd love to get back on the MIUI ship and make a new theme...biggest thing holding me back is overall performance. MIUI is still a bit stuttery for me so here to keeping up the hard work!
