Re: MIUI.us v4 Toro (Jelly Bean 4.1)
That's what I used. The cyanogenmod version.
Glad it worked for you too.

Any idea on when miui tools might be available and if they will include option to completely hide status bar? Love the ROM, have gotten everything to work beautiful. Thanks so much for the work!

There's an option to toggle the buttons in the status bar. It has to be scrolled to. that may get you by until then.

Re: MIUI.us v4 Toro (Jelly Bean 4.1)
Just tried out MIUI JB. Everything seems to work for me except for WiFi. At work, our WiFi does not broadcast the SSID, so you cannot see it in the WiFi settings when you scan. You have to enter it manually. This is no problem on stock ICS, JB, or any other custom ROM I've used. I hit the + sign, put in the SSID of my WiFi, choose WPA2, and put in the password and everything is great.
However, with MIUI JB, when I hit the + sign, I can put in the SSID and choose WPA2, but it doesn't let me put in the password. Something is broken with the WiFi in this ROM. I'll come back and try again when it's fixed or someone can tell me what I'm doing wrong here...

Re: MIUI.us v4 Toro (Jelly Bean 4.1)
No ETA on Toolbox yet. I know |0xD34D| has been working on recreating the entire MIUI framework in source so not sure what is plans or time frame are for Toolbox on JB. Hopefully we can get to it before long.
Never tested adding a non-broadcast wifi connection, so not sure where the issue is. Maybe this week will fix it thoughPeople say that if you play Microsoft CD's backwards, you hear satanic things, but that's nothing, because if you play them forwards, they install Windows.
If at first you don't succeed, paint it shiny white and put an Apple logo on it. You can make a fortune on upgrades.

Re: MIUI.us v4 Toro (Jelly Bean 4.1)
I guess I'm the only one that likes the 3G, 1X bars?

Re: MIUI.us v4 Toro (Jelly Bean 4.1)
I have searched the site with no luck to find this. Why can I not pull down the notifications on the lock screen? Is it just me?

Re: MIUI.us v4 Toro (Jelly Bean 4.1)
first of all, this rom works really well and im glad i got a chance to try it.
I havnt used MIUI since gingerbread...this new Flat look is so... bad. The rom works great, but i really hate the way it looks and how complicated and strange some of the UI is now.
a lot of other elements (like the multi tasking menu...) are pretty slow also, i realize this is the fault of Xiaomi and not those who ported it.
its a shame it looks so bad because i love the built in permissions, themes and a bunch of other stuff.

Re: MIUI.us v4 Toro (Jelly Bean 4.1)
So, love the rom and everything about it but I've been having issues with SMS/MMS. I seem to receive messages very slowly, I've tested myself with another phone and on average it takes me about 3-5 minutes to receive a text and they usually all come in at the same time. Known issue or did I do something wrong? I've tried wiping and clearing dalvik and going through various settings already..
