Can't apply Wallpaper to Lockscreen / Camcorder doesn't function

Hey all,

These are the two issues that I've noticed thus far and have tried to find a solution to. Any help would be appreciated.

It seems like the lockscreen is just plain locked down. Maybe a permissions error as some suggested? One post mentioned an app called Security that I should use instead of Superuser. I don't see an App called Security and before I installed Superuser I had issues with apps that needed root. But right now any attempt to apply wallpaper to the lockscreen results in a failed message. Another thing I noticed is that I could not download any Lockscreen Wallpapers. I go to online and select one. When I choose download it says Download successfully but either it's lying or something is really wrong.

The second issue is simply that my camcorder doesn't seem to be working. The camera works and I was able to take a picture but when I try to record video I get nothing.

There was a newer build of 2.6.29 posted on July 1. It has functioning theme engine IME. Haven't played with camcorder.

Argh not changing the name is confusing. How do I know it's updated? Grabbing it now. That link you posted keeps timing out on me but I went back to the OP and am downloading that. I'm guessing it has been updated? I'll compare that to my previous download to make sure.

Looks like that new version solved the theme issue. Thanks for the heads up. Camcorder doesn't seem to be functioning though. I'll play with that one next.

Any progress on the Camcorder issue? I'm new to Miui and just installed it this week. Just noticed today that the Camcorder doesn't work. Start it, hit record and it just exits back out to the home screen. Great rom other than that!

Themes broken again? Installed ROM 2.8.3.0 and now I can not choose any themes from the themes manager. I can browse themes, but if I click on any for lock screen, home, etc it just exits the themes manager. The only way to apply a new theme is to view on line themes, download, then I can apply THAT downloaded theme ONLY. Once its downloaded I can not select it again.

This is a known "feature" of the latest ICS MIUI builds. It has gone back and forth.
