Installation:

Install the signed apk or flash (flash the flashable zip file in recovery) it or add it manually

For some devices, Apk installation might not work and you wont see any widgets, so add it manually.

Note: Either use root explorer apps with fix permission functionality from Market or follow instructions below



Copy both GoogleEars.apk and libvorbisencoder.so to Sdcard
goto recovery mode, mount sdcard and system

open Terminal on your computer and run adb devices (make sure your device is connected)
adb shell
Then copy files and fix permissions:
cp /sdcard/GoogleEars.apk /system/app
chmod 644 /system/app/GoogleEars.apk
cp /sdcard/libvorbisencoder.so /system/lib
chmod 644 /system/app/libvorbisencoder.so

to double check, cd to /system/app and system/lib and do:
ls -l
look for GoogleEars.apk or libvorbisencoder.so and check if permission is -rw-r--r-- (same as other files in those directories)
