WiFi Direct on Motorola Droid X Broken?
Sorry if this has been answered, but a forum search didn't turn up anything.
I work for a large company doing mainly Droid development. Today I installed MIUI for the sole purpose of being able to use the new Wi-Fi Direct support in ICS. Your UI is nice and flashy and so far I have no other real complaints, but I was surprised that something basic like the WiFi Tethering isn't working. The WiFi Tether app from the PlayStore works fine if all I wanted to do was share my Internet connection, but I really need to get true P2P going so I can use the Wi-Fi Direct API in the Android SDK. It seems like people have been asking for this since at least last September. Any chance of breaking a developer free for a day or two from working on some fancy feature in order to to get this fixed? I would even be happy to contribute a few bucks if that's what it takes. TIA
