MIUI boot screen appears every time a make a call (2.6.22)

Wiped everything and installed 2.6.22. When I make a call I get the MIUI boot screen. I can hear the phone ring and answer on the other end. Non of the buttons work until the other person hangs up and then the splash screen goes away and it's back to normal. Anyone else having this issue?

-Using 3.1.1_IcyGlitch_V14-B6 Kernel (stock with this rom)
-No issues with 2.6.15
