Installation Instructions


1. Use the MIUI backup utility to back up all your apps and settings (Ignore this if coming from another ROM)
2. Place ROM zip file in your SD card
3. Boot into recovery
4. Create a nandroid backup (Ignore this if you backed up with MIUI backup)
5. FORMAT ALL PARTITIONS EXCEPT SD - DO NOT USE A SUPERWIPE
6. Install zip from SD card
7. Reboot.
8. Add your google account in settings (do this BEFORE restoring, or you will have to remove and re-add it)
9. Restore from MIUI backup (if updating)
10. REBOOT AGAIN FOR CAMERA.

Notes:
1. I had an issue with a test-flash where data would not work. I went to recovery and re-wiped and flashed again, and all was good. I'm looking into it.
2. It seems like the backup utility has issues restoring a google account. You can avoid issues with authorizations and market by making sure to add your google account before restoring from backup. Just make sure not to restore contacts, or you will get duplicates.
3. You can disable the data roaming indicator by going into the MIUI.US toolbox and setting a blank custom banner...or whatever text you want.
4. The data monitor app, by default, disables 3g data after a certain amount is used. You can disable this in Monitor.

5. For themes to work, you MUST manually delete the folder /data/system/theme and re-create it. We're working on fixing this.

This is a port of MIUI v4 (ICS) based on the Ville AOSP port by linds6630. This is based off of Agrabren's CM9 release, with the MIUIfication done by myself and Cmbaughman, and added tweaks and apps by myself.

A huge thanks to Blind, Agrabren, Cmbaughman, Viperboy and all the hard-working folks over at MIUI.US who've worked to bring you this great ROM on a weekly basis.

Great work porting MIUI to our beloved EVO 3D!

Concerning the bluetooth "problem": Is there a way to completely disable bluetooth? msm_serial_hs_dma is keeping the kernel in wakelock and deep sleep is not working. Disabling bluetooth could temporarly help, till a fix is found. The massive battery drain is the only thing keeping me from using this ROM as my daily driver.

That's great! I'm from Germany, but using CM9 GSM as base shouldn't change anything or? I used the version from 0617 as base and then ported this CDMA to GSM. I hope this wasn't the source of the wakelock problem, but I cannot see how it could be. Thx a lot!

I am unable to start this ROM. First time I tried, It just hangs in boot logo for so long. then i tried to wipe it again and install it again but this time I have been getting boot loops. I don't think I used super script or something like that.
