MIUI.us V4 2.6.22 for Captivate I897

Maybe try flashing another kernel right after you flash the rom. Devil kernel works great with this ROM, I recommend 0.79, 0.86, 0.93.

I ended up getting it. I flashed a kernel that allowed me to manually format all the partitions individually. Tested each one individually. After formatting "datadata" the rom was able to complete the install. Just seems weird, since I had gone completely back to stock and worked back up to it (Stock, GB bootloaders, GB CWM kernel.) But anyway, if anyone happens across the same weird issue, that's worth a try...

Just out of curiosity what modem do you guys use? This is the first MIUI ROM I've used since GB and I had no issues with GPS on it so I haven't had to use a modem in awhile but with this ROM my GPS is way off.

Hey everyone, I just wanted to update you on my status. My life has been crazy these last two weeks, barely time to think i've been working so much. Haven't had the energy to update the rom, and i'm very sorry for that. This friday will be the last day of my big overtime chunk so will hopefully be able to release a new one this weekend. Again, terribly sorry for the lack of updates.

Your port has been working great on my cappy. Super stable. Now that cm9 rc2 has been released it may be a good base for your port.

Totally understandable I respect that you still even take the time to compile the roms for us man, I really really appreciate it, you are such a blessing haha you keep the captivate an awesome phone so thank you first for compiling the rom and thank you for posting now and then just to keep me hoping, well take your time can't wait for the update man, I wish I was as talented as you so I could compile a weekly rom
