MIUI.us V4 2.6.22 for Captivate I897

Dang...I had no issues at all other then the updater fc which is known, another dev on the team tried to update the OTA to get it working, but Miui China changed it this week so that's why you are seeing an fc on it. I clean flashed, restored backup, did it all other then calls but those shouldn't have changed. Everything worked fine for me.

I reflashed and themes worked OK. But after that, whenever i answered a call, it did a hot reboot. Flashed a diff ROM then, will reflash this ROM and report. I guess it must be a bad flash since nobody else seems to have that problem.

I had the same problem while trying to call voicemail, it would hot reboot but I could still hear the voicemail recording with the boot animation going. Tried again after a reboot, but it still did the same thing. So I restored my nandroid of AOKP - 39.

If you guys can pull a logcat I can see what's going on with it. I'll try myself to fix it.

Hello here are 2 logcats made few minutes ago. I could not paste them in pastebin.com because their size is over 500k so i copied the files to my dropbox.

BUGS I HAVE FOUND:

i was unable to install other v4 themes and while receiving a call the phone rebooted. It also does not have the options to reboot into CWM ,etc plus a problem with detecting root right away, i had to troubleshoot for sometime until i figured it out how to solve it to restore my apps with titanium backup.

PS: let me know if you need any other test or logcats.
PS 2: At list could you please add the reboot menu: Reboot recovery, etc in the next release please!!!
PS 3: Consider changing to devil kernel as is the new sensation of the moment and is a beast, works pretty well.

I can confirm I also have the phone "reboot" issue. If I attempt to make a call, the OS seems to reset and reload, meanwhile the call is still being placed. i was able to talk to the person on the other side while the phone reloaded.

I haven't yet confirmed whether or not I can receive calls. No one calls me. Forever Alone.

I tried with both the Glitch kernel and semaphore 1.2.5. Same deal, no change.

Any chance it's related to the newly added call recording support? I'm downloading a prior version now and will extract some components to test.

I couldn't make the phone work without basically replacing all the framework, by the time I was done, I was running 2.6.15 anyway. So I went ahead and flashed a fresh copy of 2.6.15, and it's working fine with the exception of the root permissions issue, which is easily worked around.

I'm so sorry guys, something is weird with it. I had the error and tried to fox but I could not find the missing method. I'm going to completely rebuild the rom, the only issue is that my upload speed right now is at like 10kb/s. I'll do my best but I guess I just rushed the build as I was trying to pack. If you can just use last weeks release for the time being. I do have a server I'm going to try to do it on, so hopefully it'll work out.

This will be fixed. I'm changing the base to cm9 and it will be easier to compare to my other base to get it to work correctly unless any of you have objections to cm9 over aokp?
