Copy pasting my PM conversation with Trialsrider1. Again - great job on this ROM. Looking forward towards future revisions.

For users I will encourage you to try out other AOSP kernels as well e.g. Fluxxi, Siyah etc.

Thank you for your comments. On my phone or I'd write more but, on your number 6 I noticed too and know exactly what I did. It has the wrong storage_list.xml file in framework-res. I changed it and everything came back for me. I can make a flash zip if you want it. I'll look at the menus to see what you mean. Also on the smoothness, I tried to update my base earlier this week but ran into some issues with inputmanager. The newer base was tons smoother and I will be working to upgrade the base again, I just went back the older one that I knew worked.

All comments and suggestions are welcomed and appreciated there is a thread on miui.us now for it. I'd love to have this message there as well so I can keep track of everything as I'm building three roms and possibly another soon.

This weeks release, hopefully will be up quickly as I leave saturday for a week vacation. I do have wifi where I am going so if I don't get it done and up in time, i'll still get it up. I will make sure the external sd read issue is fixed for this next release, and after my vacation I will buckle down and get the base updated. Possibly next week even if I get super bored.

Just would like to say Thanks for this!!! Really liking the CM9 included with this. I wasnt feeling the GB versions. I have a few things to add but cant remember right now. LOL. Ill post something tomorrow. Oh and by the way. Its really smooth and it flies!!!! I see your working on other ROM's. I hope you keep this one updated. Thanks again.

Oh believe me, this one will stay up to date as its the phone I use everyday. I do build others, the captivate and co-build the infuse but this is my main one. If you see anything at all let me know. I'll do my best to fix it.

Trialsrider1 - I still havent installed this ROM since 2.6.16 - waiting for you to update to a newer CM9 base. Will tomorrows update have the new base update?

This may not be the right area as this could be a MIUI version issue but here goes:
I have apps that I install from the SD card on a regular basis, saves time etc. and normally even if the Play store says they are not compatible with my version I can still side load them on.
But with this build it doesn't seem to be working. I simply get something similar to install failed. I used to do this with Ikarus Mobile security all the time with no issue.
When I installed this build 6.22 I got that Embark NYC and Twicca(2 of my mainstay apps) are on the bad list and wouldn't side load.

Is there a work around? Am I missing a random setting somewhere that is new?
