Installation Instructions

If you are flashing from version with cm10 partition layout use this installation Guide

• Place ROM zip file in your SD card
• Boot into recovery
• Create a backup
• Fatory reset device + cache partition
• Install zip from SD card
• Follow AROMA installer
• Now you are running MIUI.us JellyBean

MUST BE RUNNING MIUI WITH CM10 PARTITION LAYOUT.]
NOTE
If updating from previous JellyBean version without a wipe-(factory reset + cache) and you have issues please reboot to recovery and wipe.

If you are flashing from a version without CM10 partition layout use this installation Guide
MUST NOT USE 2.11.2 OR ABOVE FOR THIS PROCESS

• Place ROM zip file in your SD card
• Boot into recovery
• Create a backup
• Factory reset device + cache partition
• Install zip from SD card
• At this point it will start then error, Install again
• It will start then reboot, at this point will stick on Kernel screen (dont panic)
• Reboot back to recovery with 3button combo
• Repeat process (Install zip again)
• Once complete repeat (Install once again)
• Once complete Reboot
• Once ROM loaded follow installation above for current version installation.

The error on first install is because i had to remove the assert script from updater-script
The reboot on second install is just the new kernel installation it is rebooting to finish install with the new kernel.
the 2 installs at end is required due to the new partition layout, future releases will not need this. This process is only a 1 off coming from a different partition layout.
Have not tested coming from Gingerbread ROM or ICS ROM so make sure your already running JellyBean ROM to be safe.]

Yeh i cant decide whats best all seem good performance wise. Im running EX release with Glitch and seems good performance wise. need to hold off for a day or 2 to see how battery holds out.

Have you got location reporting turned on? Open the 'local' app (Latitude by another name) and go into its settings. Make sure location reporting is off, and location sharing.

Not sure if that's your problem or not, but I had big battery drain when they were turned on on mine.

Thanks dude. That stopped the services, but I still get 10% drain overnight. I'll see if this continues for the next 2 days.

P.S. Using devil kernel if that's relevant.

This happend to me when I made a full wipe, and restored applications from miui backup. When I restored google apps, the battery drain happend. After a few tries, I tried to restore without google applications (goggles, youtube, gmail..), and the battery drain was gone. Now I use phone for two days betwen charges. Try it and report. :-)

I had a lot of battery problems with Devil kernel. Not sure if they've bee fixed, but I find Mackay to be all I need and get excellent battery life from it.

Found the problem and fixed, Uploading the fix for 2.6.17 and the test roms. Available in about an hour.

Follow instructions on first post. You can try just flash on top of existing version as I have not changed the base . If you have problems force closr . just reboot to recovery wipe and flash again.
