Hey Brad,

I have flushed your rom on my GT-I9000, but my IMEI reverted to a generic thus unrecognized by any network provider in my country. How can i resolve this?

Use Odin to flash a stock Samsung rom onto the phone. This should fix imei. Then copy the efs folder to a backup folder. Then flash Brad's rom - following the guidelines to flash from gingerbread - then copy the backup efs onto the efs folder. This is the only way I know how. In future always have an imei backup because it isn't always possible to recover it

i never tried to do that. and dont think it is possible. If im wrong please correct me someone.

Uploading new release 2.10.5 even tho there is no MIUI release of this version just sharing the changes hope its what your all after.

Changes:
Latest Devil3 1.6.1
Added Devil config app
reduced zip size massively
removed additional gapps (left version that comes with nexus-s)
Added tweaks for performance and speed of data,wifi,scrolling and more

sorry to ask....but why is 2.10.5 is much smaller than 2.9.28 ( in size i mean)??

2.9.8 is about 219 mb and 2.10.5 is 174 mb! are u sure it is jelly bean?

Yes it is jellybean I have been working getting file size down for about a 4 weeks now and finilay found how to doit wwithout losing features a lot of apps. It started getting up to 230mb I mean come on for a ROM that is huge man. Now I'm down to 174 its great faster download quicker install and faster first boot than usual.

I always recommend a wipe. You can flash on top should be alright but version difference in apps will probably cause force close like gmail and maps basicly the Google apps is what causes the problem for updates.

Just download the lock screen in theme manager. I used this one because default lock screen had lagg a few people always went on about it so I changed to one that was smooth no delay and responcive with big time display. Never herd anything about it till now

There are plenty of 4 way lock screens in theme manager just take your pick.

Bradd i'm having this crazy "delete failed" error every time i try to delete any file in sdcart, external, and root directory (copy-paste, root, permissions works fine )
i tried to delete any remains of root explorer with es file explorer ((which works fine btw so its not a problem of partitions i think), re installed the program again but its the same . Flashed the rom from the beginning with a full wipe but its the same
this error happened first when i updated from blackmart alpha to some rootexplorer v.99. I uninstalled that but it left this error
Any idea what is causing that
I'm very curious and would appreciate it

I have no idea why that is happening to you. So the error started after uninstalling the root explorer? Have you try reboot to recovery and select fix permissions? Maybe uninstalling the app upset some permissions

by the way ive noticed when i OC cpu more than 1100, the phone will be unstable

the problem started after upgrading the root explorer 2.21.1 to some version 99 or smth ( was avaible befeore in blackmart and i think was in arabic language so i unistalled it ) since then i tried these things i mentioned but no . maybe to go back to stock will fix it but its long way
i've tried also fix permissions
anyway es explorer works fine but i was curious
