Is there possibility for new partition layout in future releases with more space for apps like they now have in cm10.Miui is the fastest for me from my point of view and on Antutu benchmark too.

Have they changed CM10? If so then the answer will be yes, because Brad uses CM10 as his base. Though I don't know which base he is using so it might be a few weeks.

EDIT: it looks like CM10 changed two days ago. I'm not sure if Brad will use this or not as it's so recent and has several changes from his current base (VSYNC, which also requires a patch). But I'll let him speak for himself!

Well, that makes sense at least, HellyBean layout was better than CM10, though I have to admit that CM10 didn't cause me much grief. Let's hope they stick with it from now on.

Thank you for doing this. Been kinda missing MIUI since i went with JB. Debated for a while but think i am coming back. Downloading latest posted build(9.21) can't wait to see in action.

Any major issues i should be aware of compared to AOKP/CM10?

You are right CM10 has changed but i stopped using nightly builds as base when ICS finished, using CM10 nightly builds as base was a lot of work compared to the work involved with ICS. I have been using Nexus-s rom as the Base so using the new partition layout might be a bit more trickier than just rebuilding on the new cm10 nightly i have been looking into it all day. So hopefully rtfpessoa might know a bit about it.

    @Brad:
For TV Out you can copy AriesParts.apk and SamsungServiceMode.apk from my rom.
You will need libskia.so from CM10 and all the libs that have *tv* in the name (6 i think).

For the new partition layout i changed:
    - update-binary
    - fixed some stuff in updater-script that CM10 changed.
    - added the files that are in the outside of the system from CM10 (make_ext4fs, updater.sh, ......)
    - added make_ext4fs from CM10 that is in system/bin/

And the new devil kernel worked fine, same as new CM10 kernel.

My port is available here: http://www.miuiportugal.pt/pages/JB/#all
It's clean no toolbox or much extras, just 4way Reboot.
And i add some devil tweaks to.

The 2.9.29 rom is being translated to portuguese so maibe in some hours will be available with all this stuff i said here.

it is entirely up to you man, will be a couple hours yet till i get toolbox release uploaded there was a bit of playing around but all sorted. so need to do some testing and write up a new installation process, to prevent endless posts of "its bootlooping"

Im not sure if I9000B will be released now with the new partition layout. i can make a version but not promising it will work. if the users want to test it by all means let me know what the outcome is.

Normally it is just the toolbox it self implemented in the ROM but this releases the toolbox version contains the new partition layout and VSYNC patch. The non toolbox version is on the old partition layout.
