Re: MIUI.us JellyBean I9000 Release
So have you changed your DPI from the default then? That article suggests that that can cause these problems. I guess if we do things that Google or the manufacturer didn't intend then we can't always expect things to work super smoothly. But there always seems to be a workaround available!

It's not in my launcher.

And because it is a system app I can't get it installed and don't have the tools and knowledge to do so.
I do remember the widget was on my phone (Andy's Rom I think) but it never found a song for me.

Re: MIUI.us JellyBean I9000 Release
If it's a system app it just means it's part of the ROM - si it is installed, so that doesn't explain why it doesn't appear in the launcher. I found it very good a tfinding songs, better than Soundhound and Shazam and quicker too, but obviously everyone's experience will be different.

[QUOTE=Dutch;89388]
Thanks very much, package enabler worked for me. question is, why was the package disabled in the first place? It certainly isn't anything I've done. Maybe MIUI have disabled it as they intend to offer their own solution. If so, that's a bit nasty.

Re: MIUI.us JellyBean I9000 Release
How do I resize widgets? In the miui toolbox there is a option resize widgets. I have it enabled but how do I resize widgets. If I long press on the widgets it goes to edit widgets screen..

Re: MIUI.us JellyBean I9000 Release
You shouldn't need to use the toolbox unless the widget you want to resize isn't normally resizable. Anyway, long pressing on the widget should NEVER take you to the edit widgets screen because it should actually pick the widget up and let you move it. If you then let go of it without moving it it goes into resize mode.

Re: MIUI.us JellyBean I9000 Release
Have just tested and yes, it seems that clocks aren't resizeable, probably because they use graphics and not vectors so can't be resized without artifacts.
Never saw the need for clock widgets anyway, the time is on the status bar and lockscreen. ;-) That big fancy HTC widget everyone loves is similarly pointless IMO. It tells you the time that's already on the top of screen and tells you what the weather is doing - which is what a window is for, surely!Last edited by naa27; 09-27-2012 at 11:53 AM.
