Where are all this strange posts coming from? These disconnected, contextless posts are confusing and out of place on this forum.

Brad is working on getting JB ported across from the Nexus version of the ROM.

This is not the official MIUI.us rom or has it ever been - as support for the I9000 ended months ago. This is a port from MIUI.us Nexus S.

Until Brad posts again we can safely assume that bugs are being ironed out when he has the time. This is not his full time job - be patient people.

I'm running 2.8.3 perfectly stably

Sorry guys I have been swamped with work so haven't had a chance to look at it again last couple weeks. Waiting for a break from work so I can sit down and really get into it. Looking at it 1hour a night is just a waist of time. I need to really sit.down and put.a.good amount of time. Into.it.

i just tried to install MIUI v4 2.8.10 For GT-I9000 Galaxy S.
the moment i choose zip from sd card, and then the file, the screen shows devilkernel picture and stuck there for 30 mins. i tryied to reboot but the phone goes straight to that picture again so i can't access recovery mode to fix it. any suggestions?

Remove the battery ... for a while .. and you put it back You get the phone in recovery mode ... flashfash zip V4 2.8.10 again ...

Using the miui version 2.8.24 multi on my Galaxy s I9000, but when i want to make a backup with the software I got the error miui backup has stopped.

got this weekend off so im able to work on porting again bumped into a systemui issue again hopefully i will get this sorted sometime soon. Andy offered a helping hand so might be releasing soon than i expected. just got a couple bugs to iron out will keep you posted

No. My work always does this. They take on more than they can handle so it goes flat out for a short period of time then it dies off.to just 40hour weeks again. So once it dies off in the next week or 2 I'll be back in the swing of things again. There is nothing I can do about it man sorry .

Hi Brad,

I'm a java/c# developer, with some experience on modifying roms, but never ported anything to any phone.
Anyways, I'm willing to help if necessary. I'm also depending on these ports to stay on MIUI...mine is a I9000B, so I'm used to modify the releases from here in order to be able to install it on my phone.

So, if you have some documentation or some links to share, I would be glad to help.

here is 2.8.31 Jelly Bean release havent Updated 1st post as yet but thought i would share to the members waiting patiently. Big thanks to andy for his time helping me out. And getting this port to work correctly. He teach me a new method which has solved a lot of issues i have from week to week so future releases will come much easier and involve less work for myself Thanks a lot Andy.

Will not be officially releasing as yet a bit of testing is needed for long term usage. as of so far all is working well.

there is a delay between kernel screen and when the bootanimation is displayed so dont panic.
Wipe data/factory reset and wipe cache is all that is needed (coming from ICS) - Coming from Gingerbread not tested

On first flash it will start then reboot back to recovery and continue so once again dont panic when this happens.
