well... i think i found the real issue: android after gingerbread version (JB + ICS) is not support AD-Hoc WiFi, so you should choose WPA2 WiFi to connect the internet.

BTW i found an issue in .20 and 23, about the VPN connection. I can connect to VPN but unfortunately I can't disconnect it, i stop the DATA connection to get it disconnect, how about the latest rom ?

I'm now in .23 with it's original kernel (semaphore) <-- is this what we call kernel? CMIIW
can i change it to devil kernel like on .20 ? how? where I can download the kernel?

Glad your liking the ROM yudix thanks for your positive post its always appreciated to read people are happy with my work. have been thinking about making Devil3 the default kernel again. Has great performance and awesome sound boost too. Need people to remember if things dont work check the app if the feature they are trying to use maybe you need to enable that feature contained in the app. (Will be releasing with Devil3 app)

Thanks Creshaw yes the in-between releases had some bugs but hopefully that will be the end of those bugs. It mainly comes down to the other devs that do the translations from the MIUI.com releases. some times things are forgot that will impact this ROM as well. Remember *There only Human*

Glad you worked it out though! I was hesitant to reply as people have been having some problems with the latest Devil kernel (Power Drain) and so I was trying to make up my mind which to recommend.

I'm still using 1.0.3 but I will flash the latest 1.1.3 and get back to you.

I only lost 5% overnight with WIFI off on the latest Devil3 kernel (1.1.3)

I downloaded the new rom update 2.8.10 with the "update me"-app but being in the recovery menu I couldn't find the file after wiping the cache partition and cleaning the dalvik cache. Now I can't get into recovery again and the phone rests in a boot loop. What to do now?

I think the rom isnt uploaded completely, cuz the file size is just 58mb

Hey Brad,

First off, awesome job on the Galaxy S version. I'm in love with it. Won't be going back to Cyanogenmod anytime soon.

I came across MIUI a year ago, to which I installed it, loved it, and then for some reason crashed after a few weeks. I flashed again, follow all the instructions, and the same thing happened a few weeks after. This forced me to go to Cyanogen, to allow MIUI enough time to address this issue. Everything works perfectly now, good job guys (where do I donate?)

I have currently installed on my phone v2.8.3. Just noticed that an update was released today, 2.8.10. My question is, how do I update within my phone? without losing all my info / apps (I know contacts are bound to my gmail account, and apps will be rdy to download again, i just don't want to lose the info on them/saves for games).

Before you guys post noob, search the forum, etc, have mercy. You guys weren't born with that info either, help a fellow MIUI enthusiast.
