Having trouble changing ringtones, notifications, etc.

Hey all, I've upgraded to the MIUI 2.6.8 port for the Nexus One. Everything is going normally, except for a "minor" detail: I can't change ringtones or notifications to a source OTHER than the stock ones supplied with the ROM. The system settings list the ringtone I've chosen (say on the SD card), but when I get a call, it's the stock one playing! What am I missing, is this a glitch? How can I fix/workaround this? TIA

A trick that i have used with the ringtone selection problem. Go to the music player, and look for a song that you would like to use as your ringtone. When you the song you want to use, long press the track and a menu will come up, then select use as ringtone.
