Aceoyame Presents MIUI 4


As with all ROM's, Scripts, or sticking your phone in water...there is a chance you will break it. You have been warned!


Download the rom and install in your favorite rom installer. I recommend Safestrap.

IMPORTANT! Wipe data and cache (factory reset) and wipe dalvik cache!

Go into the Android Market and update the apps on the phone.
Sit back and enjoy MIUI 4 on your bionic!

Known Issues
Most same bugs as other ICS roms. No FFC, only HQ youtube works, softkey lights only turn off in auto brightness. Two Theme icons and MIlocker. Set theme in both theme icons and set in launcher settings to not use MIlocker for best results. Note: Non MIUI4 themes are not garunteed to be fully compatible! Package updater will crash but apps will still install. For 4G data (or any data) go to the "Phone Info" app and set LTE ram dump to "On" then choose GSM only from the drop box. After that go to Settings > Mobile Networks and set the mode to CDMA\LTE. If you don't want 4G then just CDMA. If this does not work repeat but when you set GSM only, choose to turn the radio back off and then back on and then proceed. It may take several tries.

Is there an update ? Rom manager said it was updated today but the version listed on rom manager isn't different from before so Im a little confused.

Has this been tested on the ICS 4.0.4 Leak 6.7.2233? Please let me know if it has. I want to know if I can use this over the leak. Thank you!

So, is there an update from the first version posted on miui.us? Also, fix the camera Ace. I'm not sure if you have in recent builds, but I know you know how to fix it.

I have tried flashing this to my device, I only get a black screen. Yes, I did my wipes. I had an older version that I got from RootzWiki, but the version 2.6.8 that is on this site would not work. Any ideas? Also, I cannot create a new thread, can someone help me with that?

I'd also like to be able to start a new thread or four.
I've wiped and installed this rom twice and it is useless.

Here's a short list:
No Service. Period. (LTE Ram Dump "on" yadda yadda = no use.)
No ext-sd card. It's just invisible to this ROM.
Normal rebooting always returns the phone to the recovery screen. (Is that what's supposed to happen?)
Some sort of error/conflict between MIHome and MILocker. I didn't bother exploring this.

I've restored my phone, thank God for nandroid.

Is this ROM working well for others?
Is this just a ratty release?
Did I tilt the phone the wrong way during my installs and all the usefullness ran out the audio jack holes?
I'd love to discover that I've missed something basic. I dearly despise the stock OS on my bionic.
