Atrix is not riding my internal memory
After upgrading to version 2.5.18, it stopped mounting the unit of internal memory, how to solve?

Re: Atrix is not riding my internal memory
Need more info than this.
Do you have an sd card?
Are you trying to use this as your PRIMARY storage?
When you say not mounting, do you mean that it isn't seeing it, or the apps arent (ie does it show up under the storage settings in the system settings)?

Re: Atrix is not riding my internal memory
Then you would need to flash the sdswitch that is on Jokersax.com under the Cyanogenmod9 for Atrix section. By default, this rom looks for SD Card for those items. By flashing that zip, it will set your phone up to look for internal storage as that.

Re: Atrix is not riding my internal memory
up to version 2.4.27, my Atrix, the internal memory appears normal, considering that it has 16 gb memory without sd. when I install the version 2.5.18 and 2.5.25 it shows through the setup menu that the system has 10 GB of free space, but does not mount the drive, where they saved my photos, videos and some applications

Re: Atrix is not riding my internal memory
I understand that....I made some minor changes to the rom based on many of the users I have in XDA having storage set up differently. Consequently, it changed on this release. Easiest way to do it is to open Root Exporer, navigate to /system/etc. Open your vold.fstab in editor and swap the /mnt/emmc and /mnt/sdcard in the 2 lines. Then reboot and you will have it. That, or on Jokersax.com, there is an sdswitch that will swap these for you

Re: Atrix is not riding my internal memory
i reply to this tread because i have a problem too, i install the last miui rom by the aroma installer, my internal sd is mount as primary, that's what i want but, i can't access to my external sd, even with root explorer...it's work only with an app like al mass storage manager but it's not native and it's useless because the other app doesn't find the media files who are there and i have to re mount ext sd after each reboot...
Is there a way to make the ext sd working like on the others roms?
Thank you.

Re: Atrix is not riding my internal memory
Under the current settings the external storage isn't scanned by most apps, like music players. If I switch it, I assume the opposite will be true.
It doesn't let me use symbolic links, across physical media, so is there a way to mount the external storage to a point inside of the internal storage so that both are scanned by apps?

Re: Atrix is not riding my internal memory
Only way that I know of to do that is through editing the ramdisk to make the storages mount like that at time of boot. I will look into it tonight, as I have wondered the same thing. I'll let you know what I come up with. Right now, working on some stuff for Photon build....as well as Atrix.

Re: Atrix is not riding my internal memory
Any word on if this will work or not.
My car has a USB port on the radio which i used to use with my Droid X but with only one SD card it would mount and see the music. Now with SD Card (16GB internal) and SDCard_EXT (32GB removable) the car will only see the SD card and that is not where my music is. if there was a way to mount the SDCard_EXT from within the SD card that would be great.
I could just swap them but I am not sure exactly how to make sure I type the right info into the vold.fstab file to make it work properly and i surely cant be without my phone for more than an hour. so if it did not work i would be in real trouble.

Re: Atrix is not riding my internal memory
Thats not what I was asking?
from this i took it that you were going to look into setting up a mount point on one SD card to point to another SD card but maybe I was mistaken.

Re: Atrix is not riding my internal memory
Ok...I have not had a chance to yet attempt this modification. I will be over the next 1 to 2 release cycles. I am still perfecting the new process I am using to port, which takes a little more time and has required more after-editing than my previous process, but has resulted in an improvement in system performance. I will try to work on it as soon as I can. I apologize for the inconvenience.
