Hello, thank you so much for the answer! I was waiting for the next update of MIUI for testing it again (2.9.21: system and cache wipe, installed the aroma ROM (with MIUI media profile) and Gapps), but the issue persists. Btw, thank you so much for the update, it runs very smooth!

I really don't know how to get the logcat before it hits debug mode. I'm using CatLog to get that. So I cleared the log, did a reboot and opened the music player and changed some songs... and saved the logcat. Here it is... If you need something about that I will be checking this! Thank you so much!

Heyy Th3Bill I m having problem at the last "set_perm some changes failed" and phone is not booting up....what could cause the problem......i did the full wipe but i dont know what is causing the problem..................???????

Just installed MIUI V4 2.9.29 yesterday, and I've got a weird issue. It boots and runs fine, but will freeze at random intervals (although pressing buttons too quickly seems to set it off more). The screen will freeze right in the middle of its animation, sit there for 2 or 3 minutes, then the phone will reboot. Rebooting doesn't take terribly long (maybe 45 - 90 seconds as opposed to 5 - 30 minutes with stock Gingerbread -- no joke), but it's still a PITA. Would you recommend rolling back to 2.9.21, waiting for an update, or is there some tweak I could try? Thanks!

PS: If you need my LOGCAT file, please tell me how to get it. I'm a major n00b here. Thanks again!

I'm a Chinese.When I first install this system,when I first boot the system,why the system is continusly rebooting when I go down the step of the first operate?And I learn that the reason is the baseband is don't matching from our local forum.And I intalled this baseband-N_01.77.36P_olympus_4.5.133.zip.But I first install this baseband later installed the miui system of 2.9.29,the error is occur:when I reboot the system,the system is usually entering into "CWM recovery".I estimate that the reason happend with the baseband.Is this true?Can you help me?Or if my analysis is true,can you tell me which baseband match?The best give me a download link.Thank you from the bottom of my heart.My english is not good,please forgive me.

Hello fellow rommers! I have a small problem that may or may not have a solution already.

I flashed 2.9.29 last night on an unlocked AT&T Atrix 4G and everything runs like butter except for a few things:

1: trying to access the fingerprint controls under advanced in settings causes a FC.

2: every time I reboot my phone the network access dialogue box shows up, which isn't an issue except if I want to change anything there, it is only for

Chinese provinces and network providers (useless for anyone outside the country)

Are there any fixes or commands I can run in the terminal to fix these?

I really want the fingerprint scanner to work just because its so awesome and all!

UPDATE TO MY POST ABOVE: The crashing has subsided; in fact, since I turned off a downloaded Cellfish live wallpaper (which probably was not Jelly Bean-compatible), MIUI is now rock-steady and smooth as heck.

1: I wouldn't expect the fingerprint reader to ever work. No custom ROM (that I'm aware of) has fingerprint compatibility. The thing must be a total PITA to program for.

2: I'm getting that same stupid network dialogue box. Since I live 6,500 miles from Beijing and have no plans to subscribe to Chinese Telecom, I'd really appreciate a way to disable it.

Two more complaints:

3: Some of my downloaded Amazon Android Store games are uninstalling themselves when I shut the phone down and reboot. Not a dealbreaker, just weird.

4: My final complaint is not MIUI's fault but mine: That I waited for months like a fool believing Motorola would actually support their product like they said would and provide the promised ICS update. When our AT&T renewal comes up in May, guess which brand I WON'T be buying? LONG LIVE MIUI!

I have another issue though. Is there a fix for the issue of FC in the browser when trying to select a spot or word in a sentence?

FIngerprint reader only supported on GB builds. It will most likely NEVER get support for ICS een is Lokifish and I ARE successful in getting Moto to support our devices like they promised. This is because Authentec (company who does the software for your fingerprint reader) is now owned by Apple, and they have the patent. So, that being said, I highly doubt that if Moto won't build ICS or JB for the Atrix, that they would EvER pay the ridiculous amount Apple would want or a license of the fingerprint software. Sorry to be a buzz kill on that one fellas.

On the Chinese service thing and the FC on txt select in browser, I would need you to pull me a logcat on the issue, as my daughter now owns my Photon (which was my test device to fix things for Atrix). I am still going to do the builds and will do basic test of the ROM before uploading, but I needed her to have a good, solid phone, and lets face it...these Motos are pretty much build bullet-proof even if they aren't packed with the latest software from Moto.

If you get me logcat, I can most likely get you a fix

If you're on 2.6.1, hate to say it, but I don't even have that build anymore. That's ICS, and we've moved on to JB, my friend.

If you are on 2.10.12, you need to make sure that any apps you're downloading or restoring through ANY backup are 100% compatible with JZ054K (the latest version of Android 4.1.2). That is what this ROM is built in. Having incompatible software on it will cause reboots like crazy

I installed the latest version 2.10.12 and when I reboot I see Permission Manager has stopped warning.
I got stuck at that point. I have tried several times and did full wipe all the time but no luck.
Any idea why this is happening?

from what I understand this rom ported from the official here for you, you have to modify to fit on our Atrix. At this point I wonder if you continue with the Development of this beautiful rom, thanks in advance for your availability
