While you are very polite, this comment does nothing to help me fix it. I need at least the following: 1) What was the nature of the stopped...did an error pop up, or did it just close? 2) What were you doing within the browser at the time of the "stoppage"? 3) I need a logcat, as I do not have this issue on my Photon (the phone I own), so I cannot reproduce your error. Providing me with a logcat will give me somewhere to start looking or a clue of what advice I can give you.

When you say stopped, do you mean that when you rotate the browser, it closes? If yes, that is a known issue with Motorola Photon AND Atrix, as Moto has not released ICS libs yet that we can fully fix this with.

At this time, the only issue that I am having is that when I rotate the browser from portrait to landscape and back a few times, it closes without any error. If this is not your error, please provide me with the above information (logcat being the most important, honestly). If you do not know how to do a logcat, PM me, and I will explain it to you

First of all thank you for dedication to Antrx and Photon. You are doing a great job!

I have recently switched to 2.6.29 and currently on 2.7.6.

The browser problem (when a browser crashes following a change in screen orientation) is really annoying. From the XDA forum I learned you are aware of it, but cannot debug due to lack of Atrix.

I would be interested in helping debuggin this issue and maybe some others as well. I have installed logcat and see warnings and errors some of which may be related to the browser problem.

The best way of eliminating the problem is probably to introduce changes to the sources with further testing on the device. I have some understanding of Java and Android API, though have not deal with OS development.

Could you share info on where to obtain the Atrix MIUI sources and how to set up the development environment to get me started?

Couple problems

1) The browser issue isn't due to me not having an Atrix. It's a lib related issue. At the current time, we do not have ICS libs from Moto. This makes certain things not work right like video camera, browser rotation, and certain other 2d items. We won't be able to fix this until Moto decides to be nice and give us those libs. Until then, we're stuck with patchwork, which is at best a rough workaround. This is on ALL ICS Roms, not just MIUI. I know, GB doesn't have that...but Atrix is a GB phone, so the libs for that were available when the phone was released.

2) MIUI source is not open, so it's all porting. I use Crespo as my source for my port. As Photon and Atrix use the same frameworks as one another, I have worked on multiple edits in the framework to try to fix it, and I'm at the best I can obtain at this point without proper ICS libs.

I have installed 4.0.4 2.76 and seen some bugs:
1)Always, when i trying run 'opera mobile', it have crashed without some message.
2)Setting -> Complete setting -> More -> 4g setting |I receive next message 'Unfortunately, Settings has stoped.'
3)When, i connected phone to pc, internal memory(/mnt/emmc) didn't unmount and PC see only external sdcard

1) Opera for some reason doesn't like the Cm9 base that I use.
2) Does Atrix have working 4G unlocked?

1) USB tethering hasn't worked on any build I've had so far. I'm not sure the source of the issue
2) Call recording I will have to look into...
3) This has been discussed previously on the XDA thread. To use Torch from lockscreen, first tap on the unlocker like you're going to unlock, THEN long press home.
4) Not sure why that is....works great on mine. May be that you have it set to a different mode...I know some of them don't allow changing of res...

Hmm....interesting. Did you change it all in the language and inputs section? I think you have to not only select it as default keyboard, but then make sure that the android keyboard that is stock is UN-checked.
