(Request) Fix for dual signal icons

I know that there has been a recent fix for the dual status bars, does anyone know where I can find the fix or know of a flashable zip to fix it? I have searched everywhere I know to look. Even if I have to do it manually I dont mind. If someone could even shove me in the right direction I would really appreciate it. Thanks!

What device are you using lance? Evo 4G?

i have been requesting a fix for this for a couple weeks now. From both the MIUI.us and the MIUIandroid Evo 4G developers over at XDA and all i get is bashed by everyone else for wanting what is right. Not a single Official MIUI ROM is displaying dual signals. About 2 months ago it was happening to ALL MIUI ROMs, some for 1 week and some for 3 weeks. They have fixed the problem weeks to a month ago. I dont know what the problem is but because many users like it, it has become little to zero of a priority. Those that do NOT know but think they know think that this is normal aka "the norm" for MIUI now.

I'm using a Droid X and Beans towns ics rom.

I copied this from a post on twitter. I have not tested it yet but I am goig to back up and test it I think
I guess with a few smali edits it should work on pretty much any device. I just dont know what the edits are. Keeping my fingers crossed I dont screw up my Droid X. lol

Okay, does not work with Droid X. My phone still works, I just have no status bar at all. oops.

yea, i know about it. Works fine for the Evo. I am sure you could have someone modify it to work on the DX. Good Luck!

Did you just wipe cache and dalvik and apply the zip in cwm or what?

Went back to stock, wiped cache and dalvik and applied the zip in cwm and it still didnt change anything but at least I still have my status bar. Any help would be nice to get this working for the Droid X ICS build

Got it working now. I forgot to change permissions when I copied the miuisystemui.apk. Lost my center clock mod so I need to find a flashable zip for that now.

I found someone to make the center clock mod for Droid X that works great if you have applied the signal icon fix. If anyone wants it you can find it here:

I JUST loaded on 2.6.8 onto my Epic touch and got the same thing. after my wife crashed it using the MIUI toolbox, i looked in, and voila, it has the fix and also the center clock. after switching them on, it took a minute or two and i now have the centered clock and single bars. good luck.
