MIUI 2.2.3 battery indicator problem!

using MIUI 2.2.3 (later versions have broken usb mounting), even after fully charged (the light turns green), still show 14%, had to reboot to show 100%, what can i do?

I've had similar issues on 2.4.6. Sometimes it seems to work fine, other times it does seem to register that it is charging at all, but a reboot, or sometimes even just turning the screen off and on, and then it will read the battery level correctly. A couple of days ago the battery indicator actually continued showing that it was charging even after I unplugged it from the charger. Had to reboot to get it to read correctly again. All-in-all it's just a minor annoyance but I too am wondering why that is happening.
