Google Apps Not Working 2.4.27

Help! I have not been able to get any google apps to run. They instantly close. I need to download super user so I can use Titanium Back up as it does not see my phone as rooted. I poured through the XDA forum and tried the different app files recommended there too. I really like what I see in this ICS ROM, but if I can't get my back up restored I will have to go back to MIUI GB ROM from RickS that I was using before. I tried to reboot into recovery and install the superuser3.07.zip, but apparently it has issues as it errors out when I try to install it. Was going to try to push SU with adb, but for whatever reason I cannot get adb to see my fascinate. Any thoughts of what I could try next? Even tried an earlier version of google play, same issue. Thanks to any and all who have any ideas...

Did you try flashing my gapps package here: http://tinyw.in/T2vq? You may need to wipe data again before flashing this to get it to work. I'm going to include gapps with my future releases because there have been a lot of issues with getting it to install properly as a separate flashable

Yes. I actually bricked my phone trying to put the official Glitch V14 B6. I had downloaded the wrong version.. Any ways, so I started over with odin to stock EH03, rooted and then THS build 2 then to 2.4.27, then flashed the right version of Glitch for Fascinate. Once booted, returned to recovery and flashed your gapps as I saw in last post in XDA that you compiled this one. I also tried the latest gapps that tkun in XDA mentioned prior to the brick, so I just went straight to your gapps with a fresh load, wiped the big three - three times(sometimes that seems to make a difference), but no joy. This is my work phone so if I cannot get super user loaded and titanium working, I will have to revert back to MIUI GB and try again next week. I know that super user can be pushed with adb, but I have not found the specific directions yet. I have the titanium.apk. The work you have done is amazing... One more thing, when I put the phone in the bedside cradle it did not kick into desk mode... Is that a fix coming from MIUI? Thanks for your assistance.

Regarding your Titanium Backup issue, you should be able to download Superuser directly from the Play Store. Once it's installed, try opening up Titanium Backup again. Superuser should prompt you as usual; allow TB to have root access and you should be good to go.

I updated to 2.5.4 today. It is working fantastically. Google play opened right up, but more importantly, superuser is also baked in too. Thank you Weblexa!! So far it seems super stable. I plan to do my wife's fascinate tomorrow.
