Is any way thios rom will get SMS split option?

I found a good alternative to this. It's not automatic, so you'll have to pay attention to your character count.
Once you go past 160 characters, you'll see a number in parenthesis i.e. (3)127.
Press Menu>Add Subject. This converts the message to MMS which is capable of sending the large amount of text.
You'll have to enter at least one character in the Subject box, or it will dismiss the MMS conversion and the text will fail. I usually just enter a period.

As long as you're using the ICS version of the rom, use the Mason Kernel... designed for better battery life.

For me the kernel causes a loss of functionality as of the more recent releases (sometime after 2.7.6) maybe. Used the non-sbc version. Anyone have any clue why?

As you can see by this tweet, the ROM has been fixed. Redownload and re-flash and the Theme Manager should be working fine now.

Anyone have this version that they can upload? The download page for the rom seems to be down and I guess there's a "hold-up" with 2.8.10..

Finally got this on my OG Evo again

Today I received a sms, I xed out of the popup.
After I was finished what I was doing, I dragged down the status bar and clicked the notification...tell me why my message log is empty.
I like to keep all my messages, just in case I have to review a conversation.
And it sucks cause I'm still on 7.28 or something, so my backup is quite old

is it safe to assume that MIUI is finishd for the OG EVO again ? just curious as to whats happening; was the last update the FINAL update or is there still some kinks to work out cause in my opinion the main problem i seem to be having is when i switch the toggles on and off from time to time the phone freezes and then goes into a Reboot. . . any solutions to this matter ?

Nope, a Jellybean version is in the works. Just hold tight...

I was running 10.14 on my old EVO and it died over the weekend. Just bought another used EVO since LTE won't hit Minneapolis until sometime in 2013 and I was looking for a newer version. I just installed this and I am amazed at how well it works! Everything works for me except for wimax and FFC as the OP said. No problems with WiFi at all. This seems like a great rom and I won't be going back. Thanks for your work!

So, how's the new version going? I've restored to running the MIUI Android ROM because it's slightly newer. Boy, was that a mistake; it's a piece of shit, without working WiFi and filled with graphical errors.

once more those with an OG EVO 4G are left in darkness; 37 more days and i will have the Galaxy s3 so hopefully THAT community will be a tad bit ahead of the curb its been fun rocking with you EVO heads but its safe to say the Developers are either EXTREMELY hard at work or just gave up on us .

Hours after submitting my post, I've found a MIUI JB ROM that's actively under development for the Evo 4G over on XDA.

It's not the fastest currently, but it's definitely going to be the ROM I will use when it is further along in development.

So, yeah; we're not abandoned, or anything, and I'd recommend you to check the ROM out for yourself if you feel like experimenting.

Also, not linking; too lazy, just use Google.
