For the EVO 4G, though? The issue (as discussed a few pages back) is device-centric, i.e., the EVO theme function is broken, but it works fine on other devices running the same Miui version.
And that's the frustrating part - nobody can seem to nail down what's causing it to b0rk.

Yeah themes are working for the EVO over on XDA MiuiAndroid I haven't tried it for my self but I seen ppl post its working. Swiprat did it

Themes work with the 2.7.27 MIUIAndroid build...Wifi does not.

Sad to report that, Wifi is indeed b0rked.
Didn't even bother with checking themes. If neither one of those two things don't work, the rom is pointless to me. Back to CM9 for now...

Go to themes .go to online, pick a theme, download it then apply.that's how I get it to work for me. HTC evo 4g miui 2.7.27

This version isn't completely functionally either. Been following it since it popped up last week. There is a bug with Play Store. Apps won't download or update (Mobile Data or Wifi). Other than that it works. Themes apply successfully. Hopefully there find a fix for the market issue soon.

I'm really looking forward to being eligible for my upgrade so I can switch to a phone with native ICS drivers. Only 2 more months! LOL

Anyways, we're almost to next Friday, maybe all the issues will be corrected by then.

This method does work. You just can't apply a theme under the 'local' tab. You can only apply themes under the 'online' tab. Local tab always crashes...

And I couldn't get the wifi to work on that rom, at all. So I came back to this one. I'd rather have wifi than theme functionality :P

I have a serious Question that i feel needs some addressing it seems like the kernel that comes pre-installed is battery consuming would anybody know if there was another Kernel that can be used as a substitute because quite frankly i cant take the way my battery is eaten alive by this rom. Some feedback would be AWESOME thank you !

As long as you're using the ICS version of the rom, use the Mason Kernel... designed for better battery life.

I was using unofficial CM10 JB for Supersonic but camera doesnt work. The rom is super fast, faster than this one in my opinion. Oh and playing youtube videos causes a hot-reboot for some reason. Other than that its an amazing rom. Loved it but cant live without camera and YouTube. (Also loved Google Now) <- its amazing!

The Theme app is not working. When I search for a theme on the app, it closes and takes me back to the home screen and when I do have downloaded themes they won't set when I click on them. This also takes me back to the home screen. Help anyone? Step by step? Please?

Also I'm new to using ROM's and I made MIUI as my first choice. I'm using MIUI 2.8.3

As you can see by this tweet, the ROM has been fixed. Redownload and re-flash and the Theme Manager should be working fine now.
