Can't boot into recovery.
Hey guys, I'm brand new to the forum. I have been a MIUI user for a few months now and I absolutely love it. After using MIUI (2.3.7) gingerbread for awhile I went ahead and flashed ICS MIUI, but didn't like it, when I tried to recover my previous MIUI (GB) backup with CWM it went to stock MIUI and didn't restore what I had prior. Now it won't allow me to go back into recovery so that I may re-flash the rom...any ideas on how I can get back to recovery? Every time i try to open up CWM it force closes immediately. Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Can't boot into recovery.
You should be able to hold the power button, choose reboot, then recovery. You can also open the Updater app and do MENU > Reboot to recovery. Lastly, you can do it manually by powering the phone off and turning it back on while holding VOLUME DOWN, this will take you to your bootloader, choose the "recovery" option.
I'm assuming that when you said CWM is force closing, you mean ROM Manager, in which case you can possibly remedy this by clearing data for ROM Manager, Settings, Applications, Manage Applications, find ROM Manager, and hit the "Clear data" button, it should open up after you do that.hTC Inspire 4G

How to logcat:
Probably the easiest way to provide a logcat is with aLogcat.
Open aLogcat after whatever incident you would like to report,
Hit Menu > Save

Re: Can't boot into recovery.
Thank you so much! I was able to do it and I'm running smoothly again.
Yes, I meant to type Rom Manager, apologize about that.
Thanks again!
