Is there a fix for 2.8.10 signal bars or will there be a fix in 8.17? I just use some widget right now and it is annoying.

A couple people have said the 2.8.10 Mesmerize port won't boot, some have said it does boot, so it may or may not boot for you. I haven't been able to figure out what the cause is. I'm currently working on 2.8.17. 2.8.17 is Jelly Bean, so it'll take some time to get it booted but hopefully it will fix the issue for everyone. I'll have it uploaded when I can.

I miiiiight have figured out what I did wrong.... I think I tarded it up and completely forgot about flashing TSM before I moved onto MIUI..... >_< Let me try again and see if that's what it was. I'm almost positive I had the Fascinate build flashed before, and it worked okay. I'll post again if that works out. Such a tard. *shakes head*

I flashed 2.8.10 on my wife's phone and got a screen that said "Encryption unsuccessful" and have to reset the phone. It says all the data was lost... so I am guessing she lost everything?

Looks like the mesmerize is no longer on the supported list. It was removed from the device list for ROM downloads. I noticed in the first post on this thread it says "Invalid device specified".

Mesmerize is still supported. There was a coding error on the roms download page which caused the Mesmerize to disappear, should be back up in a bit. Sorry about that. I just updated the Fascinate port to Jelly Bean and everything seems to be working well, so I'm going to spend the next day or two getting the Mesmerize updated to Jelly Bean as well.

I'm mainly looking to make sure SMS & MMS work. Make sure you make a nandroid and flash CM10 and let it fully boot before flashing this.

It seems mostly academic now that 2.8.31 is out for Fascinate, but FWIW I did finally retry the Mesmerize 2.8.10 release after flashing TSM build 15 (all that was available), and I'm not even sure TSM flashed successfully, it never got out of the splashscreen for CM9. 2.8.10 just doesn't fully flash successfully; the phone resets during the flashing process much too early before any actual flashing takes place.

A bit jealous that 2.8.31 is out, hope those of you who flashed this have enjoyed it, thanks for all you do Weblexa!
