Dont see recovery options on restart

hi,

I have the latest miui running on my defy and am facing a very weird problem.
When i reboot my phone it does not show me any of the recovery options that are available while restarting the phone.

Can anybody shed some light over what could be the issue??

Thanks for the reply buddy but thats not what i am looking for.
Its my mistake, i didnt put up the question quite well.

What i ment is when we press the power button, miui presents us with the restart option. And if we choose that the it further asks if we want to boot into recovery or perform a normal reboot.

It is this second option list that i am not able to see on my defy. When i choose the restart option, it just gives a confirmation "Your phone will be restarted" and when i press ok. It simply restarts.

And also there is no blue light coming up, i only see a green light for a few seconds.

Hope i was more descriptive this time.
