did in the newest build of 2.6.8 , gapps has been fixed? because in the earlier build, gapps was broken. not worked.

ok, i want to report the ROM, the ROM that beans upload work so far so good, gapps working, but MIUI.US toolbox seems to be lil' buggy, after changing something, the phone keep freeze, until you take off the battery and put it again and power on your d2

Beans, I'd sell you mine if I had another phone as a backup. Also, I still use it for GPS tracking on my mountain bike. The Rezound isn't as good and I'm trying to find a workaround. Sorry, man.

Great work, I like this rom so far.
Running 2.6.8 (06/08/2012) right now.

Couple things I found:
1. Cannot connect to Ad-hoc networks (previously I was running 2.2.10, and it worked there)
2. Auto brightness doesn't work (just goes full brightness, regardless of ambient light)
3. Charge-only mode is missing

Also, is it possible to make the Alt-lock button functional?

I'm on MIUI 2.5.4 v4 and want to upgrade to this build. Has anyone had any luck using MIUI Backup app to make a local backup and restore after doing a factory reset and flashing a newer version? Thanks in advance.

2.6.15: popup program requests for Superuser access... the names of the programs are in Chinese.

Also the browser set set to Baidu for default search. Correcting it to Google directs you to the Google homepage instead of searching your query every time. Also, when you install any new app, an app with a Chinese name force closes.

MIUI Launcher was very slow and laggy, but installed QQ and got better perf.

^Haven't experienced those. Did you guys do a clean install? If you didn't clear out System or restored System from a Nandroid/TiBu/whatever that may be the cause as well.

Any word on Updater or Auto-brightness getting fixed? Updater force closes everytime and Auto-brightness just runs the screen at max at all times.

Yes, I did a complete system and data wipe prior to install.

Having trouble using TiBu on the new build with MI Permissions. Says I don't have root. Is there a work around for this? Tried turning off MI Permissions and downloaded SU but still TiBu won't work. I am using the build in a slot of Boot Manager. The last build I have, 2.6.15 works ok.

ok, i've installed the new build. everyhing seems ok, this ROM is quite fast and stable, except for miui.us toolbox, will hang (stop processing) after change something. need to take off the battery to restart the device.
chrome works, video player is better than previous build (using mx player), battery performance seems great.

Re: 2.6.29.

This is the most stable so far. I've been putting it through my daily routine. My only comment is for some reason, bluetooth is a bit glitchy when connected to the car: sometimes, the caller ID will not come and I cannot answer the phone via car, even though the phone is connected to the car speakerphone. The phone then needs a reboot to work properly. This has always been the case since version 2.6.15.

Could this be an ICS thing?

I'm having a devil of a time getting this working

Here's what my install process is like:

* Use RSDLite to flash the stock 2.3.20 rom
* Root via One Click Root (http://www.androidauthority.com/droi...ecovery-69699/)
* Install D2 Recovery Bootstrap via Market
* Reboot into CWM Recovery
* Factory reset, wipe dalvik cache
* Install Rom
* Install GApps

Leads to my D2 being stuck on the motorola logo - (Tried waiting 2+ hours, didn't move). Something else breaks too, since after I do the MIUI flash, i can no longer access CWM recovery. I can get into the boot menu by hitting voldown when the blue light comes on during boot, but I can't do anything from there.. if I do CWM Recovery in that menu, it simply reboots to a black screen. Tried doing Fix Recovery under tools, also did nothing.

Any ideas?
