Battery life any better?

Notice it takes a long while to boot. Also phone keyboard is not lit up, most likely a setting I don't have set right. Bluetooth was not working correctly in the 2.3.23 build, but, will try it out tonight on the 2.3.30 build to see if that resolves this issue. FM app does not play audio, not a deal breaker by all means. Sorry I sound like I'm complaining just helping you out with testing Other than the little quirks mentioned I'm loving it! Way to go beans!

If you are using Boot Manager, this current build works great. I am using beans (Official) MIUI.us Defx Gingerbread 2012.3.23
build for my daily driver and have been loading v4 in a slot to check out. The last build ( or was it before? ) did not work very well, took long time to load then had to do a battery pull, go into CWR to get back to the GB build. Downloaded this current v4 and wow. It plays very well. I can boot back and forth between this and the GB builds. I will take a few days to check out v4 before loading it as my main rom, but so far, love the current version. Great job, beans !!

So far the main things I'm noticing with the new build is the keyboard light is still not working properly. I have noticed though that if I turn off automatic brightness, it will work. As soon as I turn on automatic brightness, however, even in a dark place, the keyboard will not light up. Multitouch still seems a little laggy. Is there a way to go back to the 2 point like in the Defx rom? Keep up the good work Beans. I will report on battery life after I've used it for a little bit.

Ok I've also noticed the flash on the camera is not working. Torch does work, just not the flash in auto or on mode.

EDIT: ok the flash does work but it just doesn't light up when doing the focusing before the shot.

Been running this all morning and getting used to it. I am using it as a Slot Rom in Boot Manager, so if anyone else can confirm these conditions, that would be great;

1. TiBu ( I am using the Pro version ) is working ok as I restored a few of my apps.

2. BT is not working right. I use my D2 at work ( Toyota Master Tech ) and sometimes I need to check out the BT in customers cars. I found I can "Pair" to the car and make a call, but the connection has lots of static,not usable. Also when trying to use the D2 as a music player ( stream audio ), it won't connect to the car by BT.

3. Maybe not a lot will notice, but you can't add FB account, will not sync. Go to Accounts and you can click to add it ( it's in the list ) but will not add. The app will work and you can log in and use FB otherwise.

If BT can get fixed, I will load as my main rom, but right now I need my D2 to be stable for work at times. So I have Defx build as my phone rom. And it would be nice to have the keyboard lights working, but it is a minor detail compared to working BT.

I love the improvements since the initial build! Updated to latest and now I can't apply any themes is this a bug in the rom or because I didnt wipe? Because I really hate doing wipes...

couldn't wait cuz beans is BOSS!!! had to flash. did as directed with wiping/mounting and stuck @ 'M' for a long time (~10 min). went ahead and sbf'd, will update.

OK, clean install. Running pretty good. Guess will give it another try tomorrow.

Hesistant to install because of battery. I was getting 10 hrs with minimal usage. Let me know how battery is.
I'm back on bean's 2.2.10a release with jbmod and supercharger scripts getting close to 24hrs of use! Crazy!

quick question, when i put this rom on my bosses phone using cwm, when it finished it said updated to 2.3.30 b2. is it supposed to say that instead of 2.4.6? not sure if thats a problem or not

Scrolling was a bit janky too. That any better?

Just install the update from MIUI 2.3.30 on my Drroid 2 and doing the usual:
- Wipe cache
- Wipe Dalvik cahe

Now I'm stuck at the red "M" logo.

I'm trying to reboot into recovery using:

Power + X ... When seeing the Triagle I'm pressing on the Seach button next to the space bar and nothng happens ..

Also tried to do: Power + Vol down when I see then flashing blue light. I get to the Droid 2 boot menu. I'm getting a "Error: /system/bin/sh not found!" on the bottom screen. I tried to do "Recovery --> CWR" or "Recovery--> RZR Recovery" I only get a blank screen.
I'm trying to do "Fix --> Recovery", "Fix -->Hijack-boot.zip" and it just sit there without a " ... Done" at the end.

Now I'm stuck at the Motorola logo ... Can someone please tell me how to fix it ? Phone is dead for the past 24 hours ...

Seems like scrolling is better and battery life is probably a tad better

It's not working yet but you can turn auto brightness off
