Installation Instructions

• Place ROM zip file in your SD card
• Boot into recovery
• Create a backup
• Fatory reset device
• Install zip from SD card
• Install Custom DX Miui Gapps
• Reboot and enjoy!
• DONT ADVANCE RESTORE DATA AS IT BREAKS NEW MIUI FEATURES - use titanium backup or rom toolbox to restore apps

• Superuser- incorporated MIUI's Permissions app now
• Panorama - Now works
• Hardware Acceleration - uses whitelist for apps main apps are on whitelist (chrome,Netflix,flash player)

Not Working

• Video Camera - stock camcorder doesnt work but LGcamera from market does if set to low
• Fm Radio - Something is Messed up with Fm will be looking into soon!
• video playback - is laggy use mxplayer from market and turn on hw/sw decoding

Anyways I have problem theme-ing this rom. Whenever I apply a theme some parts does not want to be themed(pull-down menu, settings, dialog box, etc). People in other forums says the same thing. But its not a big deal anyways =P

Also do you have any apps in the Google play Marketplace? So I can buy them for donation for ur hard work; cant find the donating link in ur profile.

the theming should be fixed for next build when i upgrade to the newest 2.3.23, thanks i have no apps at the moment but the link a paypal email in my profile

nice rom... i love MIUI and i love ICS...
btw i can't get rooted apps to work, like titanium backup... it says can't get root access

i update titanium backup... installing busybox... now it worked... sorry its my mistake

I'm digging this, not quite ready as a daily driver for me yet, but I think it soon will be. Very nice work! One thing I did notice is that scrollable widgets seem to want to move off the screen as you scroll them after a bit. Specifically Friendcaster and Tweetcaster. Can't wait for the next update! Also, any mods work with ICS MIUI? Scripts like V6 or Jakesbites?

I luv this rom, fast and responsive, ive been using this as my daily rom and no complaints hommie. Only question i had was the theme one but i see u answered that, again thank you for bringing this to the Droid X.

This is Based of MIUI.us V4 2.1.20 will be updating it to a newer version soon as i Fully intergrate into MIUI.us

I have just recently joined MIUI.us Hope you guys enjoy my work im looking forward to working with and helping whoever i can.
This is an excellent ROM if for no other reason than it introduces the first non-CyanogenMod/carrier/manufacturer framework overhaul of Android 4.0.3, and in the past week this rom has come a long way im currently using it as my dailly driver


Changes from base ROM

Added: alogcat | GoogleMaps | SuperUser | Motorolla Phone Portal
If you want ADW.Launcher, LauncherPro, or any other Launcher install them from Market.

.1. Download Warning Size
to fix this open up the download app and hit menu button and goto Settings make file limit size 10mb and turn off warning.

2. Ringtone change
to change ringtone you have to launch the theme app and goto customize and select ringtone from there (this is only for system ringtones if u want to use a custom one you have to put in system folder) this will be fixed soon

3. Camcorder and Panoramic
At this Point the camera works fine but the camcorder and Panoramic option are bugged credits for the cam fix to Jon

that pretty much sums it up thanks i will add to op i forgot to add instructions i just fixed landscape bug on 2.3.16 v4 so should be releasing anytime it fix's ringtone bug and theme bug and added miuimusic im pretty sure mayb a cpl more and its full miui.us new lockscreen and much more

i tried to start phone see blue light than click lover volume but when i click advance it goes to clockwork mode but non of the tools there work?
am i doing something wrong

toggle disable signature verification on install from sd screen in cwm

Pretty amazing work beanstown106. Only issues I have seen are a few non english areas like the Reccomend tab in messaging. Overall amazing though. Thanks for the job well done!

i've never seen this before, but my phone is now giving me a "data usage warning" in the notification bar that won't go away unless i turn off mobile data. is there any way to get this to go away? i tried the data limit stuff but to no avail

edit: my bad, found it was all tied into the monitor settings. silly me...

Is the lockscreen customization feature a part of this rom? Looking for it in the theme app but I have no idea where to look. I know how to change the lockscreen but I thought with the newer MIUI roms you could edit the lockscreen personal information of some of the lockscreens such as gmail address or degrees F or C?

How long should a reboot after install take. I think I have a boot loop coming from Wizard's 2012.3.6 on RZR recovery. Should I have used CWM recovery instead?

i always use cwm, but you shoulda done a data/system/cache/dalvik wipe before installing. i would sbf for a fresh start
