I just flashed to this fresh for a few days. I had the same time with the lock screen. I didn't have it when I upgraded from I think the previous b2 release to 276 but I need to test that again.

Permission manager should be in the tool folder unless you are looking for the fix permission option

i heard miui updates are done for the DX, devs moving on ihope thats not true i think Miui is the only reason i still have the droid x and i dont want to get into another contract.

I also hope they haven't abandoned us. I currently have a D2 and looking to get a DX. Love MIUI which is why I am sticking with the older phones. Plus I don't want to renew my contract yet.

I was actually going against all my principles and chatting with a Verizon agent on upgrading from my DX because the MIUI hasn't been updated like the other phones. I was insulted as usual by their nickle and diming so I am waiting a little longer.

That last build 2.7.6 is just plagued with problems.

Like my ex wife that I married when her mother said I couldn't, I rooted because Verizon locked out Tethering. That said, tethering has never worked for me using MIUI and now my theme's are broken, Camera crashes, No video recording and some of my Flac files won't play.

If I had the vaguest knowledge on programing these things I do have the computing power to compile the Android source code but I'm just not that good.

Anyway, I'm hoping a newer version or fingers crossed Jelly Bean will come along soon.

if your looking to get a dx let my know i have one like new its always been in a case with screen protector works better than day one and looks as good i can sbf it back to .605 if you want it factory , right know i switch between miui and CM9never had any issues with it but i want 4g

verizon is getting out of control ,i hate that i lose my unlimited data when i upgrade when they stopped unlimited a verizon rep told my i would by grandfathered in since ive had then so long that was BS and now they charge you a $30 activation fee which i think if a bitched enough theyll waive it there was also something else they charged for cant remember. if u get Android Wifi At market tethering works i use every day im on miu 269 works with every rom i ever used GB or ICS im im almost positive it will work on 276 cause i ran that for a few weeks also had issue so went back to 269 but with that app tethering will work https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...aS50ZXRoZXIiXQ.. this is link for app if you want to send to your phone

No doubt in my mind they stopped the unlimited deal because not many people want to pay $50 for internet at home then another $30 for their phone for each person. Blocking the tether software wasn't working so this is their solution.

The last in the rumor mill was everyone was tethering and going through 4G because it was faster than basic home service.

It's all just a money game and instead of giving a real speed at one price like every other western country we are stuck within a greed game in my opinion.

I spent 20 years in Europe and the were behind 7 years ago but now has surpassed us. When we had DSL they were just getting rid of ISDN.

Verizon is the worst and they really tried to screw me with FIOS and even attacked my credit which they retracted after I had my bill subpenaed for a lawsuit. You have to watch them like a hawk, take opinions and read blogs before you deal with that devil.

Bright House has hiccups but I would rather give them my blood than feed the Verizon monster.

Gotta admit though that fios tv/ Internet quality is better than brighthouse I worked for Comcast for 5 years which I brighthouse and Comcast are the same and there was no comparison with speed or hd quality when compared to fios but Verizon does rape you.

I gave up on ICS because of the issues most everyone here has but then started remembering that I thought it was better than this so I went back one step. What I found again was a really great ROM. Aside from netflix not working(won't because of kernel), the rest is quite good again.

Mine charges via pc so Im not sure there. He knows about the question mark and it doesnt cause any problems I know of (its supposedly an easy fix per another dev I spoke with about it). He just hasnt fixed it yet because he was trying to get the HWA working and that was more important. It most likely wont get fixed.

As stated by Eiht, 2-6-29b2 is the best build available now so if you want the ICS you should stick with that until Beans decides to do an updated build.

You would think that this site would keep an archive.
At present I'm using CyanogenMod 9 [UNOFFICIAL] [Beta] and I can't stand it. I want my MIUI.

go to http://goo.im/howto-rom-updating-via-our-app you can get all of beans older miuis's and wizards miui's plus any oyher rom ,gapp,update or any thing else you might need just put in what ur looking for in search bar if your looking for miui put in beanstown or wizard

Beat me to it. Been on the road all day. I've been running 2.6.29b2 again for a couple days and still haven't flashed back to GB5.12 so that's a good sign.

i see Lance gave you the direct http i didnt notice ,you should be able to find everything you need at either link "goo im" has it all search by roms ,devs.,themes ,addons anything a great site for anything.

I am SOO glad you guys posted on here cause we'll never hear from devs again about the DX. I'm downloading 6.29 right now. What I want is the MI-Two but I have no clue, or where to follow up on when or how to get it in the US. Thanks guys
