are the DX'S done being upgraded i check every day for a update starting to lose hope, what are good phones out there my contract is up in october so ill be looking to upgrade.any ideas i heard thr HTC 1 x ,how is that gotta be verizon

Yeah unless they are delaying updates for the DX, they finally put up the 2.7.27 update on roms.miui.us but not for the DX. I think its over but I would like it if the link for 2.7.6 worked. Does it work now?

I ended up moving to the Steel Droid ICS rom. I don't like how it looks compared to MIUI, and the options available from MIUI are much better...but Steel has constant dev support, and things like the camcorder and alarms are actually working.

If support continues for this MIUI rom, I'll definitely come back.

the previous MIUI version had no problems for me for location services... maybe I just need to wipe data or reflash..

Boot menu. Wipe cache. Restart. It happened to me once too. If that doesn't fixed it do a clean install

Does anyone else have problems with the battery life with this rom? (And by this rom I mean every version) Say my battery is at 70 percent and I plug it in to my computer (not my laptop) to charge. The battery still drains. Granted, it is a bit slower since it's plugged in, but it shouldn't be doing that. I don't have this problem with any other rom. Also, with normal use throughout the day, I lose battery like crazy. This is my problem with all ICS roms. Lastly, this rom runs incredible slow and lags. I know it's not beans fault, since working with ics on the dx is a pain, I'm just curious to see if anyone else has these problems.

I do see the issue charging from the pc. If i hook it up with the wall charger its charges a lot faster. I see this issue with every droid phone. I dont think its an issue with the phones. The computer just doesnt supply enough power. I also have an extended battery which helps. I actually get better battery time with this rom then the stock rom theses phones run. Turn the auto brightness off. I do not see lag in the rom also. Are u going into the permission manager and stoping most of the apss from autostarting? I only autostart the ones i need to autostart

So is it just me or is the 2.7.6 link broken on roms.miui.us? They may not support the DX anymore but I can't even download the latest version now. I'm on 5.something I think. Keep forgetting

Devs dont give eta's on updates. They work for free. Beans is waiting on a base update for the Droid X before he does anymore updates.

This is an awesome ROM, really easy to use (great for technophobic friends) However, I have two small but annoying issues. One, I can't change the lockscreen wallpaper (says "failed to apply theme") and two, Permissions Manager doesn't have a desktop shortcut (have to launch it through TB). Thanks a million for helping me keep another friend from getting an iPhone.
