Re: (Official)(4.04) (MIUI.us V4 2.5.4 05/04/2012) Working BootMenu/Camcorder/Beats A
Seeing as how you quoted a 2 month old post, I'll jump in and try to help ya. It's been awhile since I used Go SMS since I'm jumping back and forth waiting for a fixed release, but if I remember right.. All you have to do is go into the default SMS app and check Notifications, then check Show Previews, and uncheck System mms app priority. And then UNcheck Notifications at the top. You may have to also go into Go SMS and check Default SMS is uninstalled under Important Tips. But after that you should be good to go.
Hopefully I helped!

Re: (Official)(4.04) (MIUI.us V4 2.7.6 07/07/2012) BootMenu/HWA/beats audio
Second the posts reporting Theme and Battery problem.
Theme doesn't work. I have comparing Droid x of 2.6.29 vs 2.7.6. 2.7.6 has empty data/system/theme directory even after applying the theme.
Battery performance is not so good. Have USB connection to computer and the battery level is still going down?!

Re: (Official)(4.04) (MIUI.us V4 2.7.6 07/07/2012) BootMenu/HWA/beats audio
I had the same problem and my phone really heated up when I used MIUI v4. This is why I don't use it anymore and I am going to stick with my Liberty rom. I also don't think MIUI v4 will ever be getting 720p video recording and widescreen camera. I know none of the ICS roms have these features but I just love the speed of Liberty.

I don't know, haven't used this rom for awhile. you could try flashing the 6.29 build and then the newer one over it. I would assume that since that fixed it on 7.6, it would be the same for the newer release.
what's not working with video? playback? if it's playback, use mx player and go to settings > decoder, and turn on s/w.

You can try Camera ICS from the market. In camera mode, set focus to infinity, then switch to video. That's about all I can offer. I've also read that some people have had luck with LG Camera using some custome settings in it. I can't verify those as I am not running this rom to try it out.

Re: (Official)(4.04) (MIUI.us V4 2.7.6 07/07/2012) BootMenu/HWA/beats audio
Messed up with the Camera a little bit. LG Camera works for the video though the preview is not there. Try to flash CM7.1 Droid X Video Fix and bricked my Droid X. Can't get into the ClockWorkMod no matter what combination tried. So have to SBF it.
Warning:
(1) The droid2bootstrap used to install MIUI from stock has different version of CWM with the MIUI 2.7.6. One creates system.img and etc and the other create tar files. They are not compatible.
(2) There is a way to access a customize boot by press Volume Down key after Blue LED flashes. However, my version has the error "busybox is not at ...." so select CWM recovery still doesn't work out.
(3) CM7.1 Droid X Video Fix doesn't work on MIUI. Sure. One is GB and the other is ICS.
I need to think about what to do next. Leaning toward install a CM7.1 so that Boot Manager can be installed and it seems way safer and easier to mess up with different ROMs stored on SD card.

Anyone know why versions 2.7.13 or 2.7.20 haven't been released yet? Or perhaps I've missed something on a different website, I'm not too sure. I can't keep up with multiple websites with what's going on as far as delays or releases.

pretty sure the x is starting to slow down as a lot of the devs have received their GS3's and are probably enjoying those at this point. from what i have read, there are still plans for updates. we may just have to be patient in between releases as i wouldn't be surprised if they are a little more spread out than what we are used to.

Re: (Official)(4.04) (MIUI.us V4 2.7.6 07/07/2012) BootMenu/HWA/beats audio
That pretty much sums it up. Our dev did get a new SGS3 and has been doing a ton for the SGS3 community and I would imagine spending most of his time playing with his new phone. Im sure he isnt going to stop deving for Droid X but we will have to wait for sure since he is in the middle of a base change for Droid X as well.

Hopefully he comes back soon, because battery life is terrible in this build...
Other than that and the Camera...I'm loving it!
Oh, and I've had to turn wireless off and back on in order to get it to connect to my network...anyone else run into this?

Yeah, had all the same results. That's what drove me back to wizards 5.12 build. I always think I want to try ICS again and go back but flash back the first time I go to take a picture and it just sits there(or one of the other things). I do love it though so each time Beans drops a new release I at least have to try it out.

Looks like it's over. Well the x sure had a run. Will miss the development that Beans has done for this archaic old thing.
